It's National Dog Day today and there's no better way to celebrate than engaging in a friendly debate about who's the best superhero dog in comics. Is it Superman's Krypto? Batman's Ace? Hawkeye's Pizza Dog (Lucky)? The Inhumans' Lockjaw? Or perhaps even Cosmo, of the Guardians of the Galaxy?  To help focus our Poll, we're crafting a scenario that  'You're wounded, lethal baddies are closing in but rather than run, you have to stay and fight to protect something precious.'  With you, is one 'Super Dog' of your choice.  Which one would you chose?

KRYPTO - Sometimes called Super Dog, this pet belongs to Superman and possesses many of the abilities of the Man of Steel, including flight, super speed, super strength and super hearing greater than Superman.

ACE, the BAT-HOUND - Batman's trusty sidekick, Ace, the Bat-Hound may be the smartest of your choices.  Just like Batman, Ace possesses no superpowers but he always manages to bring down the bad guys.

LOCKJAW - The canine transporter of the Inhuman Royal Family, Lockjaw possesses the ability to teleport vast distances. He also has superhuman strength in his jaw and the ability to sense danger from far off places.

COSMO - A telepathic, Russian astronaut , Cosmo is the only canine who can speak.  Cosmo can also create telekinetic shields strong enough to stop someone of the Marvel Cosmic Universe's strongest warriors.

PIZZA DOG (LUCKY) - A regular, one-eyed dog who loves pizza.  In what was surely, veiled humor from the creative team of Matt Fraction and David Aja, his name was originally Arrow.
