Ray Park interested in playing Danny Rand in Marvel's IRON FIST Netflix Series

Recently at Dallas Comic Con Fan Days, Ray Park talked about his desire to have the chance to play Danny Rand, aka Iron Fist.

Before there was the Raimi Spider-Man series, there were plans to make a triolgy starring Marvel's martial arts master, Iron Fist. At the time, Ray Park, known for playing Darth Maul in Star Wars Episode I The Phantom Menace, Snake Eyes in the G.I. Joe films and of course Toad in Bryan Singer's X-men, was attached to play Danny Rand. Since then the project was scrapped. But, with Marvel's announcement of a Iron Fist, Ray Park expressed at a recent convention in Dallas that he would be happy to return to play Danny. 



So, what do you guys think? Would you want Ray Park to come back and play Iron Fist in the Netflix series? Or, do you think they should someone younger take on the role? Let your thoughts flow in the comments below.

I remember Parks talking about this at a signing he did years ago, and I still think he would be an awesome Danny but it depends how young they want to cast the role, considering what he is like in the Ultimate Spider-man series and such.

Dude can't act, plus he's quite up there in age for a guy like Iron Fist. I'd rather get an actor who could do some MA training to prep for the role rather than a glorified stuntman that can't act.

Actually he's one of my examples but if u also include the actors that is playing iron man, hulk, Batman.... Ray park shouldn't have a problem, it's not like he isn't a trained martial artist

It's more important to get a badass martial artist than someone who looks like Danny Rand, and IF is one of my favorite characters.
