What is Space Bastards all about?
In the future, mankind has colonized the cosmos. Unemployment is sky high, and basic services are unreliable. The Intergalactic Postal Service (IPS) offers the best paying, yet deadliest jobs in the universe. The IPS operates like a cutthroat version of Uber. People and goods are delivered by Postal Carriers who are encouraged to maim and kill one another and steal deliveries. The courier that completes the delivery gets paid. The others, if they survive, get nothing.
The ensemble cast features an unemployed accountant, a death row inmate, a divorced real estate agent, an alien immigrant, a raging alcoholic, a retired privateer, a former executive assistant, and many others in their new lives delivering packages for the IPS. Under the volatile leadership of Postmaster General Roy Sharpton, these Space Bastards are at each other’s throats trying to settle scores and earn big money. But when a rival corporation's technology threatens their way of life, the Postal Carriers must work together to preserve a job they've come to love.
