Who Is The Best Marksmen Of Comic's Deadliest Shots?

Characters from both Marvel and DC have shown amazing marksmanship, but who could be the best shot? Would it be with the bow, with peanut, or with wrist-mounted blasters?

The best marksman in comic book history is debatable because numerous characters have demonstrated outstanding marksmanship abilities over the years. Various characteristics, including accuracy, talent, consistency, and overall impact on the comic book industry, can be used to designate the "top" marksman. However, several figures, including Hawkeye, Green Arrow, Bullseye, Punisher, and Deadshot, frequently show up in conversations about the best marksman. It's vital to remember that fresh personalities and plotlines keep appearing, which could alter these rankings and usher in fresh competitors.

Archer vs. Archer

Determining the victor in a hypothetical fight between Hawkeye and Green Arrow might spark heated discussion among fans. In their respective comic book realms, both heroes are shown as fierce fighters and very proficient archers. Let's lay out the facts to determine who would probably win such a battle.

Both Hawkeye and Green Arrow have demonstrated amazing accuracy and the capacity to hit their targets with pin-point precision while using their archery skills. Due to his near-superhuman eyesight, Hawkeye is able to monitor targets across large distances and shoot with extraordinary accuracy. Green Arrow, on the other hand, is renowned for his extraordinary speed and is capable of shooting 33 arrows every minute with astounding accuracy. Both are skilled archers, but Green Arrow has the advantage in terms of the sheer volume of arrows due to his ability to fire quickly.

Physical prowess and combat skills are additional crucial aspects to take into account. Due to his training in several martial arts, Green Arrow is a highly proficient fighter. He can also win conflicts thanks to his proficiency in stealth, quick reflexes, and combat strategies. Hawkeye is equally skilled in both armed and unarmed combat and boasts outstanding fighting abilities.

With all of these things taken into consideration, picking a clear winner between Hawkeye and Green Arrow is difficult. According to the evidence at hand, Green Arrow takes advantage over Hawkeye due to his quick reflexes, and mastery of martial arts.

Eye For An Eye

Bullseye and Hawkeye cross paths in issue #6 of the Hawkeye: Freefall series. Their proficiency and equal skill sets are on display in their clash. Both characters repeatedly shatter arrows on each other's arrows during the battle, showcasing their dexterity and agility.

Despite the fact that they both possess similar skills, Hawkeye prevails by using a cunning arrow. He deftly employs an explosive arrow, which ultimately succeeds in taking down Bullseye and puts a stop to their conflict. The comic stresses the two characters' keen competition and passionate rivalry but doesn't go into further depth regarding the fight or their motivations.

Don't Kid yourself, It's Punisher

The debate is good to run through theory, but in the end, we knew it was going, to be Frank Castle. The Punisher is renowned for his superb aim and ferocious use of weaponry in his particular brand of vigilante justice. The Punisher has a reputation as one of the best marksmen in the Marvel universe.. His expertise with firearms and unwavering tenacity are the leading elements in this.

The Punisher has a range of weapons and explosives in his arsenal, which he employs with lethal accuracy to eliminate his targets. Although he doesn't particularly favor the bow, 2004's Punisher did demonstrate his skill with it. His consistent displays of talent, resourcefulness, and unwavering focus on his goal ultimately cement his reputation as one of the most formidable marksmen that speed or cunning couldn't top.

I would say Bullseye, anything in his hands is a deadly weapon.

Although Marvel is supposed to be the more "real" set of heroes and villains, Bullseye wins because of his preternatural ability to turn any single object into a killing weapon combined with deadly accuracy.

@Arthorious - Only if he can observe Bullseye first to copy Bullseye's abilities. If Bullseye gets the drop on him, it's over.

Why tf do you think punisher would win? Even in the universe he's from he isn't nearly as good of a marksman as hawkeye or bullseye. Hawkeye once used his own fingernails as throwing weapons, and bullseye has been doing that kind of sh!t all through his existence.

With thrown objects, Daredevil needs to at least be in the conversation

Is the question who the best marksman is or who has the most lethal arsenal?

Not sure how The Punisher is anywhere near Bullseye in the former regard.

Objective: Assassinate a highly valuable target from over 2000 yards away through a small window in the lounge of his heavily guarded penthouse.

Deadshot-
Floyd Perfectly aligns his shot, adjusts for wind velocity, travel time, gravity, atmospheric variations due to the heavy smoke coming out of the slaughterhouse’s smoke stack impeding his shot, disruption caused by penetrating the window, and hits his target right between the eyes as he’s watching TV. The entry wound is so symmetrically perfect, no assassin who’s ever lived could do better.

Bullseye-
Bullseye attempts the same exact shot, but instead doesn’t prepare his shot as adeptly, seems to fire a single round wildly, then catches his bullet casing as it exits the chamber and immediately flings it behind him. His no-look toss is directed at 2 assailants approaching him in the shadows, striking the first one in the temple and dazing him. Then as the second goon is opening his mouth to proclaim “look out!” In slow motion to the first, it perfectly ricochets of off mobster A’s cranium and goes right down Mobster B’s esophagus, still burning hot from the shot. It causes his throat to immediately swell, making the dislodging of the cartridge impossible, and he slowly chokes to death on the ground as he’s writhing. Bullseye then walks over to the aforementioned dazee and strangles him with the rifle strap.

Meanwhile, we haven’t forgotten about the shot itself, as it also strikes the window in a similar spot as Deadshot’s…. However it doesn’t seem quite as perfectly aligned. This is because Bullseye was timing his shot with the only witness who happened to be in the room: the target’s wife as she steps in front of the window to speak with the target. The bullet goes directly through her heart, and then hits the target on the left side of his forehead. Still, this isn’t quite as accurate as Deadshot could have made it. This is because there is a fuse box not visible to either sniper on the other side of the wall behind the target’s head. Bullseye has aimed the bullet so accurately that it goes through the window, through the witness, through the target, through the wall behind him, and is a perfect shot to strike directly through the fuse that powers the top-of-the-line security system that would have gone off from the window being compromised… but instead doesn’t even register a decibel. The caliber of the bullet was also quite a bit smaller than Floyd’s; accurately chosen so the exit hole from the individual fuse is small enough that it doesn’t impact any of the other systems, so the power in the building stays otherwise intact and no security has any idea that just happened.

Floyd Lawton is the perfect assassin, his shots couldn’t be any more accurate. But Bullseye is a Looney Tunes character; there is no comparison.
