John Constantine is back for a new year and in a new time slot but that hasn't helped with the ratings yet. Constantine dropped 20% earning a 0.8 adults 18-49 rating.

The future of the show is still uncertain as it continues to struggle with rating and was cut down to thirteen episodes. Still only time will tell if NBC will renew Constantine for a second season.

Thats too bad. Was a pretty good episode last night.

Overall the show is really good I think. The only thing its lacking is a little more style, it doesn't need to be as dark and stylish as something like Hannibal, but something similar could work in its favour.

New time slot, same day. Airing this on Fridays is a bad idea.

GOOD! NBC put this in a terrible time slot (I thought it would survive because of Grimm), no promotion etc...... So I hope NBC officially gives it the axe so CW or another network can pick it up where it will get hate love and attention it deserves.

Come to think of it, it was probably the only day available for the show.

@SuperCAt

I am thinking that NBC thought the show will do good because they thought the cult following for Grim would rub off on it........

I only caught the first episode. Haven't seen it since mainly because I forget about it and hear almost nothing said about it amongst friends. Plus I have no desire to catch up really, I'd usually wait for seasons to end and then watch it all afterwards. Fridays was a horrible idea. If this show makes it another season I'll be genuinely surprised.

Matt Ryan pretty much confirmed in an interview a couple days ago this has been cancelled. He was talking about the last day on set.

Well you will get a drop after no promotion and people not knowing it moved to a new time. What the hell do the NBC execs expect? They don't really give the show the promotion and time it deserves.

Went from uncertain to certain cancellation...they [frick]ed Dracula with it's Friday night time slot too, that was a good show...

This really sucks, I would have watched 100+ episodes of this version of Constantine. I really hope this show at least helps the main actors to get great roles in the near future. I think after Constantine ends, I pretty much won't watch NBC at all anymore (Hannibal is on Amazon). They have pretty much earned their Nothing But Crap acronym and I think it will be funny to see the wheelchair bound Mariska Hargitay on the 50th season of Law & Order: SVU.

I haven't watched a single episode of this show and I didn't expect it to ring in that that many ratings because:

1. People have things to do on Friday nights.

and 2. Constantine doesn't have that much appeal to people, in general.
