Legendary Pictures Bringing GODZILLA And SEVENTH SON To San Diego Comic-Con

With an official announcement coming tomorrow, it has been confirmed that Legendary Pictures will return to SDCC this year (despite splitting from Warner Bros.) in a "big" appearance. Among the films that will be present are Godzilla and Seventh Son.

While its "big" presence will officially be announced tomorrow, Deadline has confirmed that Legendary Pictures will appear at San Diego Comic-Con Saturday, July 20th. Despite its split from Warner Bros. being underway, the company will showcase the Godzilla reboot (which hits theaters May 16th, 2014) and the Jeff Bridges fantasy film Seventh Son (which was recently pushed to January 17th, 2014), among other movies, during WB's panel. A Legendary Comics booth will be present on the floor of the San Diego Convention Center, and a monster-themed event is scheduled for pre-SDCC on July 16th, possibly to tie into Pacific Rim (which hits theaters July 12th) and/or Godzilla. Last year, WB/Legendary's panel was a big success, after showcasing the likes of Guillermo del Toro's giant robots vs. giant monsters epic, Man Of Steel, and a Godzilla teaser. Are you looking forward to seeing what they have to offer this year?

I REALLY hope Warner Brothers releases that Godzilla teaser soon. Maybe they'll have a new trailer, too.

@fettastic

That's because Legendary is solo now, but I promise you someone will pick them up (hearing its either FOX or Universal) and help them market the movie. I mean, Legendary is a partner studio and not one of the big 5 (FOX, SONY, Disney, Universal, and Warner), and Pacific Rim is pretty much tracking bad becuase lazyass Warner didn't help track it. Also, their DC movies were better than Green Lantern, a Warner Bros. solo DC movie, so maybe DC will get worse from now on.

I know they're gonna show a new trailer, but I was wondering if it will be another teaser, or a trailer featuring the cast members, since they haven't finished the film yet.
