The very brief glimpse is about 50 seconds in, after the Chipmunks! Theres also some other cool stuff, worth watching the whole thing anyway.



So, brief I know, and in fairness, its really just getting to see the pictures from yesterday in motion, the special effects haven't been tidied up at all. Still, I do think this has potential just from that..although maybe I'm just hoping it does. WHAT WAS WRONG WITH USING TED KORD!..sorry:)

That's cool as Hell. I prefer Ted Kord but his abilities were nowhere near as cool as the kids, as far as being The Blue Beetle goes.

Looks ok to me. I still don't like that maybe this is aiming for teens. I don't think that another Smallville is needed, I never liked that show. But that's just my opinion.

Looks o.k., And don't worry, we could hopefully get a Ted Kord reference in. Like a recreating of Maxwell Lord shooting him.

i prefer to see booster gold but they are going with jaime reyes because he is young and mexican. the mexican population is huge as well as the young market. this probably will be like a young peter parker struggling with school acne family and girls.

i prefer to see an aquaman or a booster gold show.

Ah I'm just an old git that prefers what I know! I never really read much of Reyes as Beetle. But if its good its good.

@AngelAragiel- I don't mind if it is geared for teens/wide-audience. It just doesn't need to have eternal angst like Smallville. Blue Beetle should be fun with a good action/comedy mix. And Booster Gold would be great!

That CG looks pretty good for a small test. It looks a little too "clean" in that shot, but it's definitely workable.

it might be off of something else, but it looked a LOT like Prime to me!
maybe he's getting the trailer in TF3?

Wadey, could well be man. There is quite a bit of footage in there from movies I have no clue of. Could even be some Green Lantern stuff for all we know!

Angel, well, what goes around comes around! Not only did they lose today, but one of Mexico s goals was offside:)

we could only be so lucky. i doubt they would showcase any GL stuff until Comic Con. and if its special effects, it must have been from they were first pitching. because most of the visuals in that vid were pretty low key.

if thats what the blue beetle is going to be like then hell yeah bring it on. why couldnt they do something cool like that with smallville? that 5 seconds of blue beetle had way more awesome effects then smallville has had all together in my opinion lol
