When Daredevil was cancelled after three seasons, fans quickly took to social media to ask Marvel Studios if they would #SaveDaredevil. Well, Kevin Feige ultimately obliged, and Vincent D'Onorio and Charlie Cox both separately reprised their respective roles last December in Hawkeye and Spider-Man: No Way Home.
All eyes (no pun intended) are now on where they could appear next, and there's a lot of curiosity surrounding the future of Cox's Man Without Fear. Matt Murdock has the potential to make a huge difference to the MCU moving forward, and it seems the actor already knows what's on the cards.
"I think at this point, I expect to be involved in some capacity," he told HeyUGuys when asked what his future in this shared world might look like. "Otherwise, it would be a bit of a weird one-scene moment. I don't know much, I know a little, and what I do know I'm very excited about...there’s a chance it could be the next ten years of my life."
It's already been rumoured that Daredevil has a role to play in She-Hulk and Echo, and it's likely the actor has already shot his part in the former seeing as production wrapped a while ago.
Marvel Studios doesn't necessarily need to "fix" Matt Murdock after his stint under the Marvel Television banner, but a reintroduction is required (especially for those who didn't follow those Netflix shows). Hopefully, the end goal is a new Daredevil movie or TV show as the character deserves one...quite a bit more than the likes of Agatha Harkness and War Machine, in all honesty!
What do you hope to see from 'ol Hornhead in the MCU?
