The UNTITLED DEADPOOL MOVIE's Title Has Reportedly Been Revealed, And It's A Jolly One

Move over AQUAMAN, this year DEADPOOL is making December all about him. The UNTITLED DEADPOOL MOVIE, which just announced a surprise theatrical release date, may now have a title.

During a shift in Fox's release schedule, the studio made a surprising and unprecedented move. With little to no information regarding the project, Fox announced an Untitled Deadpool Movie for December 21st. The film, which will be a theatrically released PG-13 cut of Deadpool 2, will add several scenes to the spectacle, in addition to toning existing content. Fred Savage, reprising his role from The Princess Bride, is currently the only new cast member officially announced for the project.

A few days following the announcement, BBC correspondent Lizo Mzimba claimed to have a scoop on the cut's title. The Deadpool Before Christmas, which he claims it to be called, is a playful reimagining of Selick and Burton's animated feature. Whether the film will have any more Christmas related material added on is unconfirmed, but this would be unsurprising considering the title and timely release date.

Does the cut really demand a theatrical release? We'll just have to wait and see.

@Menks123 - This. Is......sad. What the hell? Is this the official crowned winner of most shameless cash grab of all time in cinema history?????

@SanFranLand -
Could be, but I think it's a very smart move. My wife and other silly people love Christmas. I can already start making plans to see it with her and her family. I'm positive I won't be the only one in that camp.

This is just a cash grab. How do you release the same movie twice in a year?

@WruceBayne - I read somewhere that it was to show marvel thst deadpool can be successful as a pg13 movie but that was never confirmed

@MyCoolYoung - tbh that’s stupid especially since marvel/Disney has said they’d want to keep Deadpool as is . They can do R rated movies and just put them under another “studio “ just like how pulp fiction is technically a Disney movie through miramax. And there’s so many ways to write around the r rated stuff if for some reason they stuck him in an avengers movie

I think it's hilarious Deadpool 2 is going to be released twice in the same year, while Dark Phoenix gets delayed again and again

This isn’t how you do a live-action remake.

I'm so confused but somewhat intrigued. Can't think of anything like this ever happening before.

Lots of added scenes, please. This merger is complete in December, no? Are they doing this so it can be the first official Fox-To-Disney film? The Brolin jokes alone will be fantastic.

Don't feel the need for any more DP2 personally, but good luck to this weird endeavour.

This is lame.
I wouldn't expect anything less from Deadpool though since he's lame too.

I’m curious enough to watch it at some point (not in theater), but imagine how annoying it will be if this actually proves successful and we start getting theatrical re-cuts of every successful movie.

It would be funny if they just show "The Dead Pool."

How many versions of DP2 do we need?

I'd prefer an animated film where Deadpool accidentally gets Santa Claus drunk on Christmas Eve and has to take his place delivering toys.

This whole thing is so bizarre to me. Just like when they brought (and showcased) Deadpool 2 at SD Comic Con MONTHS after the film came out.

Can see why people dislike Deadpool as a character, however I love the shit out of him.
