TOY STORY 4 Becomes The Fifth Disney Movie This Year To Reach $1 Billion Worldwide

It's taken some time, but Toy Story 4 finally crosses one billion worldwide & becomes another success, helping Disney's stock market rocket To Infinity And Beyond!

Almost two months after being released in theaters, Disney & Pixar's Toy Story 4 finally crosses the $1 billion dollar milestone. It now joins Disney's other billion-dollar making movies of 2019, such as Aladdin, Captain Marvel, The Lion King, & of course, Avengers: Endgame. As far as Pixar fims go, it's fittingly the fourth film to make a billion after Toy Story 3, Finding Dory, & Incredibles 2 respectively.

The film's $1,001,176,037 haul also makes it the eighth-highest-grossing animated movie of all time, & it will most likely beat Toy Story 3 soon, which is $1,066,969,703.

We thank Disney & Pixar for delivering what most thought would be the first bad Toy Story move, to actually be another great addition to the franchise. We are eternally grateful.

Directed by Josh Cooley, the toys are back in town for one more adventure, as Woody (voiced by Tom Hanks) & Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen) help newcomer Forky (Tony Hale) embrace what being a toy is all about. Along the way on a road trip, Woody reunites with his old flame, Bo Peep (voiced by Annie Pots), after many years, & meets a host of new toys along the way.

Toy Story 4 is now in theaters.

Fun fact: Of the 23(!) Disney films that have crossed a billion, 8 are from Marvel Studios (not including FFH, which was financed/distributed by Sony). That's more than any other film studio. Universal has 7...

@WakandanQueen - Even though I am so delighted Marvel has done so brilliantly, and has dominated the box office, Im still a little disappointed more of Marvel Studios' movies didnt make a billion each, I always thought the first Avengers would have given Thor The Dark World & Winter Soldier a boost. Same for the Guardians sequel. I get Guardians 1, Ant-Man and Doctor Strange as they werent widely known to the general public at the time and didnt really have a unique selling point to get more audiences.

and then Disney became the ruler of the planet. The End haha

sorry to look at the negatives...but what the hell happened with Dumbo, it looks like a failure compared to rest of Disney's successes this year? I didnt think it was that bad, I honestly thought it was more imaginative than the shot for shot remake that was The Lion King.
