Eternals boasts one of the best casts of any Marvel Studios movie, but we still don't know who will lend their voice to Kro. That character is the lead villain, and his voice could be heard briefly in the final trailer for Chloé Zhao's highly anticipated blockbuster. Since then, there's been a lot of speculation about who's playing him, with Legion star Dan Stevens among the potential candidates.
Collider recently caught up with Stevens and asked him directly about the possibility of being in Eternals. "[Laughs] Kro comment," he responded with a smile. "I mean, I said 'Kro comment' but I don't know if that was cryptic enough. Even if I could say anything, I wouldn't be able to and would have to try and kill you through Zoom. Is that cryptic enough? Is that more cryptic or less cryptic?"
It seems pretty obvious that Stevens is indeed playing Kro in Eternals, and seeing as we know Angelina Jolie's Thena has a romantic connection to the character, Stevens likely has an on-camera role as the villain, too. Either way, this is another stellar bit of casting from Marvel Studios.
Legion fans have been hoping the actor might land another major comic book role after his stellar work as the son of Professor Charles Xavier in the short-lived series, and Kro should be a fun part. Very little has been revealed about the leader of the Deviants, but Marvel Studios has been careful to keep as much about this project secret as possible (hence why we've already had a final trailer).
November 5 is nearly here, though, and we're bound to see more from Eternals in the coming weeks.
