A new TV spot for Eternals has been released that drives home the fact that these heroes have been part of the Marvel Cinematic Universe for longer than any of us could have possibly imagined.

The action-packed footage from the movie (read our review by clicking here) is mixed in with shots of familiar heroes, including Thor and Captain Marvel. We've yet to see the likes of Ikaris and Ajak cross paths with Earth's Mightiest Heroes, but who knows what could happen down the line?

During a recent interview with Screen Rant, director Chloé Zhao revealed whether she ever considered including any Avengers in the movie. "I think it was very important for Marvel and for the team at Marvel to step back; to not rely on their other familiar characters, which is the easiest thing to do," she explained. "If anything, I'm the Fact Guardian, "Can I have this? And that?"

"I think it was very important that they were pushing me to trust this story and these characters," she continued. "And the treatment that I received from earlier on, that Nate Moore and Kevin Feige and the Firpos have worked on together is exactly that. It didn't include familiar characters."

Check out the new TV spot (and our interview with Druig actor Barry Keoghan) below:
