Bob Garlen Presents: Masters of the Universe: The Legend of He-Man Trilogy Fan Cast

This stands as my take on a Masters of the Universe Film Adaptation. The Idea is to build an epic mythos like Star Wars and Lord of the Rings, while also having a more barbarian edge with a PG-13 rating.

I want to reinvent the He-Man mythos to bring out the more sustainable qualities and update it in a way that really fits the material without being disrespectful towards it.

I call this:

The Legend of He-Man Trilogy

The Legend of He-Man Trilogy

Masters of the Universe: The Legend Begins

On the Eve of Prince Adam’s coronation to become He-Man, a Mysterios Figure unlocks the portal to a Dimension holding the Enemies of Eternia, Sparking the return of an Ancient War. Adam must accept his Birthright and combat this War to protect his People and prove himself Worthy of Becoming the King of Eternia while preventing the Snakemen from resurrecting their God Serpos and destroy the world.

Masters of the Universe: The Vengeance War

Prince Keldor Returns Reborn as Skeletor Master of Evil, Waging War on Eternia seeking Vengeance on Randor and Retribution on Eternia. With the Power of the Havok Staff, Skeletor plans to use it to draw Power from the Five Kingdoms and lay waist to the Grayskull Legacy. Adam will face a unique Challenge as he must learn the dark side of becoming a king.

Masters of the Universe: The Dark God

Defeated from his Battle with He-Man, Skeletor is scorn by his Master – Hordak. With his Evil Horde Hordak comes from Etheria to Eternia in effort to Join the Twin Power Swords and use the Power to become The Dark God Horde-Prime. Adam will learn what he will sacrifice to protect his Family and his People.

Concept of He-Man:

He-Man is The Knight of Eternia, a title each Future King must take on before their reign as King. Allowing the future king to know his people and to serve in their best interest. This is a lineage of different Heroes Such as: D’Vann Grayskull, Son of Jarod the 1st The First He-Man who Gave his Life to Lock Hordak Away on Etheria, The Moniker Passed on to Ro Brother of D’Vann, Jarod the 2nd – Son of D’Vann who took the moniker. It was passed to Rodar son of Jarod the 2nd who held it. When time came he passed it too his son Volnar, who held the title next. Volnar passed it down to Adrion, father of Miro. Miro held it unable to deem which of his twin sons were worthy until the disappearance of his son Keldor. Randor Held the Role of He-Man Until Adam Reached his Early 20’s.

The Concept of the Power Sword:

He-Man’s Power Sword is infused with the Soul of D’Vann and the Magic of Tytus who storm together to allow the one who wields it immense power. He-Man’s sword wasn’t the only one infused with power, as Queen Veena The First Queen of Eternia, she served her people as the Queen of Power She-Ra and had her soul infused into her Sword blessed by the Sorceress and infused with the God Tytus’ Power to create the Sword of Protection, to be passed down by the First daughters of Each King. No Daughter had been born until Randor had sired Adora, when she came of Age she fell in love with the Prince of Etheria and in effort to create peace between foreign worlds she took the Sword to Etheria and protect it as the Royal Guaridan She-Ra. Allowing He-Man to Stay on Eternia, a role Adam would Inherit from his father.

The Crew & Cast

Composer: A film score (also sometimes called film music, background music, or incidental music) is original music written specifically to accompany a film. The score forms part of the film's soundtrack, which also usually includes dialogue and sound effects, and comprises a number of orchestral, instrumental or choral pieces called cues which are timed to begin and end at specific points during the film in order to enhance the dramatic narrative and the emotional impact of the scene in question.

Patrick Doyle [Notable Works: Thor, Brave, Cinderalla]: In all honesty, his work on Thor was a major crux in deciding to do this. Patrick’s music is amazing and bleeds into the heart of its films wonderfully. There is no doubt that Patrick would be needed for the Score of a He-Man adaptation, he is clearly perfect for it.

Screenwriters: A screenplay or script is a written work by screenwriters for a film, video game or television program. These screenplays can be original works or adaptations from existing pieces of writing. In them, the movement, actions, expression, and dialogues of the characters are also narrated. A play for television is also known as a teleplay.

Ashley Miller & Zack Stenz [Notable Works: X-Men First Class, Thor, Big Trouble in Little China {Forthcoming}]: They’re a fantastic team that have found a way to balance drama, humor, action, and maturity. Their style as writers is certainly befitting of what a He-Man Movie needs and would certainly create a script that I think conceptualize He-Man and bringing it forward to a modern audience.

Director: A film director is a person who directs the making of a film. Generally, a film director controls a film's artistic and dramatic aspects, and visualizes the script while guiding the technical crew and actors in the fulfillment of that vision. The director has a key role in choosing the cast members, production design, and the creative aspects of filmmaking.span>

Dean Isrealite [Notable Works: Project Almanac, Power Rangers]: He is a director with such potential to make an epic film. I think he did very well with Power Rangers and it had themes that weren’t perfected but I think a character and a World like He-Man’s would be perfect for Dean. He’s a great pick especially for the concept of evolving into maturity and taking responsibility to heart. Dean would without a doubt be the perfect pick for a Director.

Prince Adam Grayskull/He-Man [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 20’s]: Prince of Eternia, Heir of Grayskull. Adam is destined to become the Sixth He-Man, a Member of the Heroic Warriors, Knights of both Royalty and Soldiers. He serves the people of the Kingdom he is set to Inherit. He stands as a hero of Eternia seeking to make his world a better place.

Dacre Montgomery [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 22, Notable Works: Better Watch Out, A Few Less Men, Power Rangers]: He has shown some fantastic talent and some dynamic range in his big screen reveal in Power Rangers. Dacre has all the makings of a proper He-Man and there is no doubt he would be absolutely perfect in the role, especially for the vision I have for the franchise.

King Randor Grayskull [Height: 6’ 1”, Age: 50’s]: The King of Eternia, Having Served as He-Man for roughly 30 years as He-Man and King of Eternia. He is a veteran of the Last Great War and very hesitant of his son taking a mantle with such Danger behind it.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 45, Notable Works: Game of Thrones, Oblivion, Gods of Egypt]: An amazing actor with a sense of humility to him. While he’s went from absolute bastard to good man. It would be great to see him as the humble king Randor, and it’s certainly a role that would fit him.

Queen Marlena Glenn [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 50’s]: A former Astronaut who inadvertently entered the alternate dimension of Eternia. She is a Loving Queen and cares deeply for her family, playing a political game as an outsider.

Carla Cugino [Height: 5’ 5”, Age: 45, Notable Works: Watchmen, Sucker Punch, San Andreas]: Carla is a wonderful actress. She has done amazing work balancing dark roles and comedic ones. She has played vulnerable characters as well as characters who refuse to allow themselves to be vulnerable. I think playing such a social outsider with refinement would be a fantastic challenge and role for her to take on, and I know she would be perfect.

Duncan Zoar/Man-At-Arms [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 50’s]: Duncan is the eldest friend of Randor. He is a dedicated Soldier and a Father who is a short-term pessimist and a long-term optimist. He has experience and has spent the last 20 years making Adam a proper warrior fit for the Heroic Warriors.

Manu Bennett [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 47, Notable Works: Spartacus, Arrow, Death Race 2050]: Manu is a gritty actor. His roles really carry the broken man gravity to them. Seeing him play a more humbled character would be interesting. He can certainly carry himself appropriately and add dimension to Man-At-Arms. Manu is really the way I envision a live action Man-At-Arms being.

Teela Zoar/Soldier-At-Arms [Height: 5’ 7”, Age: 20’s]: Daughter of Man-At-Arms and oldest friend to Adam. She has questions of her place among the Heroic Warriors and wonders about her mother. She is physically strong but emotionally growing often relying on her friends.

Kaya Scodelario [Height: 5’ 6”, Age: 25, Notable Works: Skins, The Maze Runner {Franchise}, Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales]: Kaya is one of the most Powerful emerging actresses to come out of my generation. She has shown some range and talent and I think she could take a role like Teela and really make it her own.

Teela-Na Zoar/Sorceress [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: N/A]: Sorceress of Castle Grayskull and Guardian of the Secrets. She finds her duty in keeping the History of Eternia. She has the ability to unlock the Powers of Grayskull and transfer them to the Next Heir.

Lynn Collins [Height: 5’ 8”, Age: 40, Notable Works: John Carter, True Blood, Lost in the Sun]: Lynn is a lovely actress who has shown such amazing talent. She has really brought an exotic feeling with her characters. She would be very honorable of the role while also make it very much the type of role she gravitates too. There is no doubt she would be perfect for the role and really bring her heart into the material.

Orko [Height: 2’ 0”, Age: N/A]: A Wizard from the outlands of Eternia, he found favor with the Royal court after Saving Prince Adam from drowning in his younger years. Randor has offered him a home and position in the Royal court, this leads to Orko being Adam’s confidant.

Stephen Merchant [Height: 6’ 7”, Age: 42, Notable Works: Hello Ladies, Dream Corp LLC, Logan]: Really this is all due to Logan. Stephen showed heart, humor, and depth as Caliban. Really for a modern incarnation of Orko Stephen is exactly what I imagine being. He would be absolutely fantastic and hilarious as Orko.

Prince Stratos of Avion [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 20’s]: Prince of Avion, Stratos finds himself in a position similar to Adam’s as a Prince attempting to serve his people and prove his worth to the kingdom.

Tom Payne [Height: 5’ 7”, Age: 34, Notable Works: Winter, DxM, AMC’s The Walking Dead]: I am actually a fan of Tom’s work. He’s really shown some new dimensions of different characters and that’s something I really dig. I wanted to take Stratos and really do something unique with him and I felt making him younger and having an actor like Tom would really accomplish what I needed to do with him. Tom is a hell of an actor and is certainly my only pick for this role.

Orius Ken/Mekaneck [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 30’s]: A Father who lost his son to a virus years ago that lead to him having his head and body modified into a Cyborg organism.

Joshua Jackson [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 39, Notable Works: Fringe, Shutter, The Affair]: Joshua is an actor I’ve been looking to include for a while. Until now I never really found a role that felt unique enough for him. I think Joshua’s work as an actor has done an amazing job being serious in goofy situations and made it feel natural and whole, which is a necessity with doing a character like Mekaneck.
General Roke Krass/Ram Man [Height: 6’ 3”, Age: 40’s]: Roke is disgraced soldier recruited to the Heroic Warriors once He-Man goes to war with Skeletor. He is a hulking figure that can burst through walls with a little bit of a hot temper.

Dominic Percell [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 47, Notable Works: Blade Trinity, Prison Break, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow]: If nothing else this is certainly inspired by his work on Legends of Tomorrow. Dominic has shown heart, humor, and drama in a way I hadn’t expected. Seeing him in a role like Ram Man just fits in a very natural way. He’s a great actor and could certainly make the role his own.

Perkuado/Man-E-Faces [Height: 6’ 0” Age: 40’s]: An Actor who joins the Revolt Against Skeletor’s War on the Grayskull name. He believes in Randor as a leader and believes in Adam. He is a talented fighter having done a lot of his own work as Eternia’s premier actor.

Rodrigo Santoro [Height: 6’ 3”, Age: 41, Notable Works: 300, Che, Westworld]: A fantastic actor with a great on-screen personality. He’s shown quite a bit of range as an actor and has certainly stood out as a great choice for a hard to nail character like Man-E-Faces.

Adora Grayskull/She-Ra [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 20’s]: First Female Heir of Grayskull. She is a very loving Woman who intended a Pacifists life until being dragged into war. She takes up her mantle of She-Ra in the War Against Hordak.

Rachel Hurd-Wood [Height: 5’ 7”, Age: 26, Notable Works: Peter Pan, Solomon Kane, Home Fires]: A dynamic actress full of energy and presence, Rachel has stood out numerous times in various performances, while a first appearance would be more or less a cameo in the third film it would open for a massive spot for her character. Rachel is a fantastic actress and would certainly tread new ground as Adora.

Captain Jeoff Blithe/Sea Hawk [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 30’s]: Sea Hawk is a pirate, a member of Prince Zed’s Elite until he found out that Zed was really the Child of Hordak and embarked on a massive Rebellion against the Dark God.

Oscar Isaac [Height: 5' 9", Age: 38, Notable Works: Sucker Punch, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, X-Men Apocalypse]: Few actors have as much natural charisma as Oscar. With a role like Sea Hawk it requires charisma to take the character and make them likable while taking them on a Journey. Oscar is certainly the best person for an obscure role like this.

King D’Vann Grayskull [Height: 6’ 3”, Age: 40’s/50’s]: Son of Jarod the 1st, a Member of Eternia’s High Council, D’Vann was The First King of Eternia. A powerful Warrior who brought together the Kingdoms of Eternia to stop the Siege of the Snakemen and to lock The Dark God away. He gave his life and established a lineage of warriors all of whom would Carry on the Tradition of Teaching a King Humility.

Liev Schreiber [Height: 6’ 3”, Age: 49, Notable Works: Kate & Leopold, X-Men Origins Wolverine, Ray Donovan]: Liev is a fantastic actor who is a commander of his time on-screen. He’s Powerful in the actions he takes and certainly makes for a perfect figure like Grayskull. There’s no doubt he could deliver gravity to the role and make it memorable.

Queen Veena Grayskull [Height: 5’ 8”, Age: 40’s]: Veena the first Queen and a Warrior of Eternia. She held her legacy as close to her heart as she held her husband’s. As death loomed for her, she sought to make sure that there was a place for future Female Heirs of Grayskull, should there be one.

Kate Beckinsale [Height: 5’ 7”, Age: 43, Notable Works: Underworld {Franchise}, Total Recall, Love & Friendship]: Kate is a strong actress that has done some bad movies. She hasn’t really been given much to shine in and I think this is material where she could shine a little bit and really give this world history with her place in it.

Ro Grayskull/He-Ro [Height: 6’ 1”, Age: 40’s]: Brother of D’Vann. He used his magic to help D’Vann seal away Hordak in the 2nd Great War and fought in the 1st Great War against the Snakemen. He worked to Establish the Sorceress’ Role as Guardian of Castle Grayskull, a tomb built for his fallen brother.

Richard Armitage [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 45, Notable Works: The Hobbit {Trilogy}, Hannibal, Castlevania]: Armitage is one of my favorite actors and I’ve been very happy to see him appear more and more often. He’s an actor I knew had to be in this and I had to find a role that allowed him to be influential on the world this series is setting. I think Richard is a fantastic player to really be a part of this and I think he could make He-Ro, especially this version really the right version.

Zodac [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: N/A]: Ever the Spiritual Zodac is one that sits on the Balance of all in Eternia. A figure who has locked himself away from the conflicts records History as the eldest living being in the known Universe. He is one who is wise above all.

Ken Watanabe [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 57, Notable Works: The Last Samurai, Inception, Godzilla]: There is really not much to say about this. Ken is a fantastic actor, a genuine legend in the field and really he has this voice of calm and wisdom that really is what Zodac needs.

King Zanthor Morgan/The Faceless One [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 60’s]: The Wizard King of Zalesia, his magic was used to seal away the snakemen to end the Great War. He was later infected by the influence of Hordak and became a vessel for the Dark God resulting in Hordak using Zanthor to sire a child of his own, the child that would be Evil Lynn. He stands as a figure still under Hordak’s influence as the Faceless One.

Jeremy Irons [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 68, Notable Works: The Lion King, Die Hard with a Vengeance, Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice]: Jeremy is a true Shakespearian actor. His work is a constant elevation to any material he’s on, and frankly he’s really needed. I liken the idea behind the Facless one as a Red Hearing to Skeletor’s introduction and the reveal that this character is really much more powerful and stuck in this very unwanted position and I think really if anyone can make that interesting, sympathetic, or ground breaking it would be Irons.

King Hiss [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: N/A]: King of the Snakemen and the one who started the First Great War. He attempted to bring Serpos, the God of Death back from the Darkness to inhabit Eternia and make it a world only for the Snakemen. He was Locked away until Keldor freed him to continue his mission and free Serpos again.

Oded Fehr [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 45, Notable Works: The Mummy {Franchise}, Resident Evil {Franchise}, 24: Legacy]: Oded is one of the most unique actors and it’s really puzzling that he hasn’t become a bigger name. He’s got a very steely gaze to him and can certainly deliver more heroic values as an actor. I’d like to give him the opportunity to go into a full villain mode and reinvent the character his way, and King Hiss hasn’t been adapted outside of the cartoon and the comics so it leaves a very wide-open field for Oded to really play and create a character that is his own.

Rattlor [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: N/A]: One of the Muscle Men of King Hiss, and overall sadist at heart, he serves because it allows him to have something to kill.

Amaury Nolasco [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: 46, Notable Works: Prison Break, Max Payne, A Good Day To Die Hard]: Amaury is actually kind of like a new Danny Trejo, I get excited whenever I see him pop in a film. He gives strong performances had has really developed many layers of himself in his performances and I think that would be beneficial to a role like this.

Kobra Khan [Height: 5’ 10”, Age: N/A]: Loyal Servant to King Hiss but a coward at heart. He served Hiss in the Great War as he serves him in their mission to Free Serpos again.

Sacha Dhawan [Height: 5’ 7”, Age: 33, Notable Works: The History of Boys, Outsourced, Iron Fist]: I really enjoyed him in Iron Fist. I thought he was an excellent addition to the series and really held his own. He was interesting throughout the time he was in it and he looked great for the fighting he did. He’s a hell of an actor and would certainly fit in the role.

Snake Face [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: N/A]: A more cunning warrior then his brethren. He can turn his enemies to stone once they look him in the eye. This makes him a deadly figure among King Hiss’ Elite.

Michael Mando [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 36, Notable Works: Orphan Black, Better Call Saul, Spider-Man: Homecoming]: Really his work in Better Call Saul and Spider-Man: Homecoming have shown he’s exactly what I want for Snake Face. I think he really has the energy and posture for a role like it and he could do wonders for it.

Squeeze [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: N/A]: A stealthy opponent. Squeeze has mastered his movement making him able to slither almost undetected and squeeze someone to death. He is very cowardly often resorting to sneak attacks.

Naveen Andrews [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 48, Notable Works: Lost, Diana, Sense8]: Naveen is really a cult actor. He’s someone that die-hard fans of Lost or of T.V. and Movies really seem to notice. I think he has a lot to give and has barely scratched the surface as far as what he can do as a performer. He is no doubt someone who could take this role and really evolve it into a 3-dimensional character.

Tung Lashor [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: N/A]: The second of King Hiss’ Muscle Bound goons. He is closer to simple minded then his predatory friend Rattlor but is all the Deadlier with his running attacks.

Adam Beach [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 44, Notable Works: Windtalkers, Flags of our Fathers, Suicide Squad]: He’s a stronger actor then he is given credit for and I think he has massive opportunity to become a bigger name. I think Tung Lashor isn’t as negatively based a character as Slipknot so I can imagine him actually getting screen time as Tung Lashor and putting it too good use.

Serpos [Height: N/A, Age: N/A]: The God of Death, an almost Ethereal being awaiting to be freed into a Physical More Powerful Form. He speaks to Hiss in horrifying whispers and currently is locked away as Snake Mountain.

Alexander Siddig [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 51, Notable Works: Kingdom of Heaven, Syriana, Gotham]: A hell of an actor with an impressive balance of presence and refinement in his roles. He has a unique voice that makes him absolutely fitting of Serpos.

Keldor Grayskull/Skeletor [Height: 6’ 1”, Age: 50’s]: Brother of Randor, Son of Miro. Keldor was outcast and left his home in his teens to start a cult for the God of Darkness – HORDAK. He started the cult of Gar, Hordak worshippers who sought power and rebranded himself Skeletor. From this Hordak gave him a gift in the form of Evil-Lynn a child of Hordak’s doing. This lead to Skeletor using the Power of Hordak to take over Eternia, this lead to his death and resurrection as Hordak’s slave.

Toby Stephens [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 48, Notable Works: Die Another Day, Black Sails, 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi]: Toby is an actor that really demands the attention and elegance of a role like Skeletor. Toby is someone I could imagine taking the role with a sense of seriousness that Langella took it back in ’87 and see it as a Shakespearian role. Toby has a presence and a notability that make him a perfect performer for Skeletor.

Evil Lynn [Height: 5’ 7”, Age: N/A]: While she is the child of The Faceless One, she was driven by Hordak’s will and influence. She acted as Hordak’s child and served him without question. This led to her working for Skeletor and claiming him as her lover. Evil Lynn is ruthless in her approach willing to employ any tactic to serve her Masters.

Caprice Van Houten [Height: 5’ 6”, Age: 40, Notable Works: Valkyrie, Game of Thrones, Brimstone]: Anyone who watches Game of Thrones would know a role like Evil-Lynn is second nature to Caprice. She is beyond talented and has a real on-screen presence that shows some darker edges as well as some exotic ones, making her such a class-A talent perfect for Evil-Lynn.

Merman [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: N/A]: A member of an ancient underwater race that evolved from the Snakemen, Merman is a loyal slave to Skeletor, dreaming of grandeur and acceptance. He is very agile and a highly skilled warrior who incorporates leaps and agility to his fighting style.

Joseph Gilgun [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 33, Notable Works: Misfits, Lockout, Preacher]: Joseph is a class A talent. He is a strong performer who really stands out as a threatening presence and a comedic one. He’s a fantastic as an actor and can really bring some heart and humanity to a character like Merman, without undercutting the evil of the character.

Triklops [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 40’s]: Servant of Skeletor from the days of the Gar Cult. He has served Skeletor as a major enforcer of Skeletor’s cult.

Ian Anthony Dale [Height: 5’ 11”, Age: 39, Notable Works: Tekken, Hawaii Five-Oh, Mortal Kombat Legacy]: Ian is a hell of an actor who’s really made a name for himself. While he isn’t a household name he has pushed his notability a fair bit. I think he could have some fun in a role like Triklops and really do something creative to make Ian stand out as a performance.

Beast Man [Height: 6’ 6”, Age: N/A]: Skeletor’s Bodyguard and a vicious Psychopath. He has a way of communicating with Animals that allows him to use them to attack others.

Kevin Durand [Height: 6’ 6”, Age: 43, Notable Works: Real Steel, The Strain, Trial and Error]: A Hell of an actor with an incredible on-screen personality and presence. He has a physicality that really enhances what he could bring to the table for a character like Beast Man. He could get the character to be a darker version of what fans loved the character for.

Trap Jaw [Height: 6’ 3”, Age: N/A]: A Soul who joined the cult of Gar seeking acceptance only to be transformed into a monster by Skeletor’s magic. This turned him into a deeply scarred monster with serious anger issues.

Ryan Hurst [Height: 6’ 4”, Age: 41, Notable Works: Sons of Anarchy, Bates Motel, Outsiders]: Ryan is an actor that has a growing repertoire of roles that help him stand out. A role like Trap Jaw gives him plenty of meat to do something new with what could be a stereotypical villain in anyone else’s hands. Ryan has a skill set that allow him to turn Trap Jaw into a serious, threatening character and I want to see that.

Prince Zed [Height: 5’ 9”, Age: 20’s/30’s]: Prince of Etheria, wife of Adora, and Child of Hordak. He used his position to marry Adora and slowly brainwashed her to help him and Skeletor Free Hordak from Grayskull’s barrier. He seeks only his father’s position as a Powerful God.

Dane DeHaan [Height: 5’ 8”, Age: 31, Notable Works: Chronicle, The Amazing Spider-Man 2, A Cure for Wellness]: Dane is one of my favorite actors to emerge in this last generation. He has shown a wide arrange of performances in a few roles. I think he has a charm to him and can really carry his own in any role he does. He would certainly take Zed and make him an appropriate monster.

Shadow Weaver [Height: 6’ 0” Age: N/A]: Mother of Evil-Lynn and a powerful sorceress and member of The Horde. She is shown as being second-in-command to Hordak. She assisted Prince Zed in brainwashing Adora to free Hordak.

Famke Janssen [Height: 6’ 0”, Age: 52, Notable Works: X-Men {Franchise}, The Blacklist: Redemption, Once Upon A Time In Venice]: Famke is one of my favorite actresses and I really don’t get to see enough of her. She delivers strong performances and while she’s toyed with Evil characters I think Shadow Weaver would certainly elevate her talent as an actress.

Hordak [Height: 6’ 3”, Age: N/A]: He is the leader of the Evil Horde, an army of savage warriors, most of whom wear a red bat symbol on their chests to convey their allegiance. He is the former mentor of Skeletor. He seeks to use the powers of Grayskull to ascend to another form of power known as ‘Horde Prime’ and become The God of Darkness.

Mark Strong [Height: 6’ 2”, Age: 53, Notable Works: Green Lantern, Kingsmen: The Secret Service, The Brother’s Grimsby]: Mark Strong is one of the most legendary actors to work today. He’s got a strong line of performances and is one of the most dedicated actors to his characters. There’s no doubt he could take a role like Hordak and demand nothing short of perfection, and that is certainly what would be needed.

*THUD*

That was the sound of my jaw dropping. This, THIS is truly one of, if not the best reinventions of the MOTU mythos I have ever seen. A great ensemble cast, AND a good take on the story to really put it up there with Star Wars, GoT and the like. Another outstanding piece from you, good sir!!!

When you have a sec, I'd like your two cents on my own piece: https://www.comicbookmovie.com/fan_fic/flixmentallo21-presents-fire-emblem-a-netflix-original-anime-series-season-five-radiant-dawn-a152243. It even has a few of the actors you've used.

Very interesting. I too have thought about a He-Man trilogy, in which the concept of He-Man has been diverged from the original "Adam's secret identity" idea. Even though my vision of the story and casting are a bit different, I still see that we think a like in ways. Yours seems to bee much more grander in scale. All and all, very good job here.

An awesome fancast, and well detailed as always. That Skeletor pick is my absolute favourite, and also it's great to see another world class fancast from yourself.

Here's some music to welcome a legend back to this cozy abode.

Okay, moving on.

- Can't be disappointed with Patrick Doyle.
- Big Trouble in Little China {Forthcoming} Wait, what?!
- Wow, surprise some people are showing love towards the Power Rangers movie, especially with your director and He-Man choice!
- I see someone was close to using one of my favorite pictures of Kaya Scodelario from that Du Jour photoshoot. And yes, she would be interesting as Soldier-At-Arms. She did great in POTC, and deserves some fun roles.
- Solid and understandable pick for Orko.
- Haven't seen you use Rachel Hurd-Wood in a while.
- Good choices for King/Queen Greyskull.
- Can't hate Watanbe!
- No surprise seeing Jeremy Irons here as well. This is cozy territory for him, especially after a shitbomb like Eragon.
- Don't forget that Michael Mando was Vaas in Far Cry 3.

- I've enjoyed Toby Stephens in Black Sails. I wish I could find a good role for him. But I think Skeletor would be right up his wheelhouse!
- I tried watching Game of Thrones. The material didn't grasp my attention all that much. But I might be inspired to cast Caprice in a good role one day. You casting her as Evil-Lynn wouldn't be bad, although I'm surprised you didn't give Elizabeth Banks a shot, considering you have a Power Rangers director and star in this cast.
- Definitely love Joseph Gilgun's Cassidy in Preacher.
- Impressive Shadow Weaver choice! I can't argue!

Nice fancast as always, Bob. You never cease to impress me with your visions for certain properties. Have you ever considered screenwriting or directing?

@MovieMonster - Constantly, but I am not a good writer, I would love to be a screenwriter though.
