So let's start with the story:
I would definitely use a mixture of the Justice League Animated series and the DCNU Justice League as the story. Both were well done. However, I would count out Cyborg simply because I love Martian Manhunter's character SOOO much more. And it would serve as one of the many key points of the movie. MM would be alerting Earth of the danger of Darkseid's(The MAIN VILLAIN) forces as it destroyed his world. His warning would set off a chain of events that would bring the JL together to form and fight the alien invasion AND Darkseid himself!
If I wanted to seperate it from the Avengers(with the aliens coming to earth) Have the JL match the aliens by destroying their earth-killing machines then Darkseid would send out a few of his Furies to test the strength of the JL then Darkseid HIMSELF would be the last fight to ensure his domination of earth. There you go DC I just made it simple for you. Your Welcome.
Okay for this FANCAST you may find my choices un-original, strange, overused, and unnecessary, but this is the way I see it COULD be cast.
Superman-Henry Cavill
This is a no-brainer. Moving on!
Batman-Michael Fassbender
A very popular choice for many and they're not wrong. The guy definitely proved his skills as a force to be reckoned with and manages to give the billionaire look plus the caped crusader's dark, grim intensity.
Wonder Woman-Jaimie Alexander
Another popular choice for many. I've been searching for other possible suitors but knowing how an amazing actress she is I can't say no. Plus I always wanted someone who gave off a look of natural beauty and wisdom. She portrays that very well. If you think you can cast someone just because they have a supermodel/sexualized look, and they can't act, you are LAZY!
The Flash(Barry Allen)-Ewan McGregor
Yeah. Not what you would expect. I saw him cast as Ant-Man once and thought that was a VERY smart choice. But after some thinking I think he could do a great Flash as well. This guy's acting method has always struck me as a tone between comedic and serious and think he can bring those skills to create a perfect Barry Allen.
Other Flash Choices - I also felt if I was to choose a Barry who seemed younger, for the Wally West fans, I had Chris Evans as a choice. I know he's Captain America AND was Human Torch but watching him as Cap he seemed perfect for a man "lost in time" and that's what essentially Barry was. So I thought Evans could play the role as well.
Green Lantern-Ryan Reynolds
Okay. Short and sweet. Movie was bad. He wasn't. Good enough reason to keep him. NEXT!
Aquaman-Liam Mclntyre
Aside from the looks, I've heard nothing but great things from this guy as far as his acting skills. He definitely fits in my JL "dreamcast."
Martian Manhunter-Dijimon Housou
A lot of people think he could play Black Panther. He could. But I thought of strectching out a bit and see what yall think if he played "Mars' Last Survivor." He's got the skills plus his voice(especially in his age) would be PERFECT for MM.
Darkeid-Michael Ironside
I know guys I know. But I will not budge on this one. He's one of the greatest actors out there and NO ONE can replace the spot that Michael has SO well filled in Superman: Animated Series and Justice League Animated Series.
Lex Luthor-Mark Strong
Okay you guys might be scratching your heads about this one since I cast Reynolds as GL but who said an actor can't fill two roles in the same universe? He played a great mob boss in Kick-Ass which showed his fierceness, plus playing as Sinestro showed his authoritative side. In my story he would be shown trying to handle the Darkseid Invasion by using his influence to have the military deal with the situation rather than the JL. At the end of the movie he would be shown recieving help to build his own JL team with the help of....(BELOW)
Maxwell Lord-Billy Crudup
He would be shown at the begining of the film causing business problems for Bruce Wayne(A great way to introduce the Batman). He would also appear at the end proposing to help Luthor build a team of his own JL to combat the "threat" that is our heroes. And the reason I cast him: Seeing him in MI3 he was a perfect side-villain for the film. One of my favorite actors out there, he's shown us he can play a great hero AND villain.
(SideNote: I can never see him as Mr. Fantastic. Use someone else people.)
So that's it guys. Had a lot of fun with this. It's been a while since I've posted anything. But I'll def be doing more stuff soon.
Let me know what yall think. Like, Comment, Whatever.
