So tony and his dad has come to New York to show a 11 year old tony stark tower (which will be an old building from the 90s or 80s). So Howard spends the rest of the day showing tony around the tower. Afterwards they go to Howard’s office where Howard is confronted by Aldrich killian (or aldrich’s dad either way). Killian was recently laid off for conducting immoral bio research (which will later be revealed to be extremis). The frantic killian gives howard one final warning to give him his job back, but then shoots him when Howard presses a button on the desk which alerts security.

As the shot goes off tony wakes up in his temporary home in New York. So tony asks J.A.R.V.I.S if he has discovered Killians whereabouts (killian was let out of prison on a technicality and has disappeared). JARVIS informs tony that the last sighting of killian was at A.I.M’s building 1 week ago. Tony tells Jarvis to ready the iron mask (mark 1 armour), because it’s time to pay Mr Xin Xhang a visit.
I thought the mark 1 armour could look like this whiplash teaser image but with the original mark 1 mask, black and grey colouring, no whips, only the arm, chest and boots are actually major tech. with the rest like padded armour. There could be some gadgets that he can grap from compartments, like smoke bombs, and flash grenades. This suit is designed to be mobile; it can jump really high and gives enhanced strength.

MR xin xhang is the real mandarin but it’s not revealed until the end. I imagine him having the business mandarin look like it is in the comics. And he is a Chinese American, father American mother Chinese.

So after suiting up tony goes jumping across roof tops, he sees 3 men attacking a woman and complains about not wanting to waste time on these clowns but jumps down, kills the 1 and paralyzes the other 2 then jumps off, after the woman runs away scarred from him. So he complains he didn’t get a thank you in typical tony fashion and arrives at A.I.M. and smashes his way into Xin Xhang’s office and threatens to kill him unless he tells him what he knows about killian. Xhang says something like “never start something you can’t finish” and says that killian came here looking for funding but vanished the next day.

A few hours later tony goes home, he takes off the armour grabs a drink (beer or something) he hears something and is then attacked by a group of men who knock him out and abduct him. Later tony wakes up in a cave somewhere having been abducted by the ten rings who want Tony’s help to make the world a better place through a plan that they cannot yet reveal. Tony is suspicious but Raza’s speech convinces him to join them, he then begins his training.
To be continued…..

id appreciate it if DEVLIN712 and everyone else doing a OAU could leave your opinions. i would have added pictures but i couldent get it to work

I'm on the process of starting a Superman comic with thestarlord myself but since it's DC it doesn't really matter for your article. I like your idea well enough but the choice of villains kind of threw me off. I would go with someone else but that's just me.

you dont like the mandarin and the ten rings, with the eventual addition of coldbloofd? or are you refering to killian because hes just there to start things off, and wont have much of an affect on the initial story. hes more of an easter egg to begin with.

@kinghulk I liked Killian in Iron Man 3 and some versions of the Mandarin but i would be more interest in a different version. From what I understood The Ten Rings are supposed to be heroic (At least from our point of view) militia and Mandarin seems to be separate from them to the point of actually being their enemy. That's a twist that I like. The problem is that Mandarin is a bit boring to me. An evil business man no matter what the background doesn't interest me. It just a matter of taste really. I'm sure that there are a lot of villains I love that you couldn't care less about.

i was imagining the 10 rings in a way that you say but they are being mislead by the mandarin, the descendant of Genghis khan. the mandarin see's himself as having the destiny to rebuilt this world useing the ten rings that he considers a gift from god. i was imagineing the actual ten rings group takeing a lead role but being manupulated by the mandarin behind the scenes.

i thought when tony escapes the ten rings that is when eric savin becomes coldblood there will be explosions and he will lose his arms and legs. i want the mandarin to be mysterious someone who is manipulating everyone he can from A.I.M to the 10 rings to the united states goverment.

if you think there is anything more i could do to the character to make him more interesting i would love to hear your ideas. i want feedback and so far your the only reply ive gotten so i would love to hear your opinion.

i imagines the mark 1 as a temporary vigilante suit, after all he thinks hes just looking for killian he has no intentions of being a hero yet. i imagine him useing the iron mask suit for a bit while tony/jarvis work on the mark 2 and 3 with 3 eventually being the traditinal red/gold iron man suit.

tony made jarvis in the film before makeing a suit. im not a 100% sure how i would make a script, so any advice would be helpful. P.S im glad you like what i have so far.

@kinghulk: I really dig the story, overall. It needs some tidying up (like, why would it have taken J.A.R.V.I.S. a week to find out where Killian was? He's supposed to be advanced technology. Shouldn't he be able to get into any surveillance footage?), but really well done.

I really think you should run with the sort of "vigilante" beginnings BEFORE getting trained. Speaking of which...

I dig the idea of having him join an organization called "10 Rings," but why are they called that? Also, if they turn out to be a destructive force that he can't go along with, you're treading "Batman Begins" territory.

Honestly though, I really dig this.

Some of my own suggestions:

Keep Killian older. It doesn't have to be "Aldrich's father." Have him be the same age as Howard Stark.

Keep Stark younger. Put him in his early-to-mid-twenties and show that Tony Stark is a wunderkind instead of just saying so.

His father's death should happen at the hands of Killian in the early 90's (which would be a given if Stark were shown to be a younger Iron Man).
