John Constantine
Colin Farrell
Constantine is without a doubt one of my favorite comic book characters of all time, he's just badass. A British street magician/occult detective/con man, who doesn't love that shit? So when casting for this I was super careful to pick the only the very best for the part, which in my opinion is Colin Farrell. Farrell is an amazing actor whose spotlight has dropped a bit in the last few years, he's not in as many movies per year, but the films he does appear in have been fantastic lately. Farrell just oozes Constantine, and not too long he WAS the real-life Constantine(except you know without the magic and stuff). Farrell may have been turned off by CBM because of DAREDEVIL, but damn would I love to see this happen.
Deadman
Adrien Brody
I'll admit, a few months ago I knew very little about the character of Deadman, but since then I've dove myself head first in comics featuring him and I've become completely fascinated. Just in a visual sense he's really, really cool, but he also makes you question yourself and the whole concept of life and death, really powerful stuff. I chose Brody for Deadman because first and foremost , he's just an incredible actor. Even if the movie he's in sucks, he always solid. It also doesn't hurt that he just looks like the character, he has just this haunting mesmerizing face that really screams Deadman.
Spectre
Michael C. Hall
Spectre is a very dark and complicated character, and so I went with an actor who excels in that. Hall has amazed us in his many seasons of "Dexter" and that role alone shows that he could play a very interesting Spectre, plus he looks like Corrigan Pre-death.
Frankenstein
Jason Mamoa
Really, what's to say? DC's Frankenstein is an awesome character and I Think Mamoa would just kill in the role. He may have turned down Drax in GOTG, but this role would just be too sweet to pass up.
Zattana
Gemma Arterton
This one was quite tough for me, Zatanna is a character I like a lot and picking the perfect person the play was tough. To be honest I really liked Serinda Swan interpretation of the character from her time on SMALLVILLE, but for obvious reasons I couldn't use her. Arterton is actress I've had my I on for a while( for a fan-cast of course......and for other stuff;)). She's a beautiful woman and has grown into a exceptional actress, and I think that her acting style would fit perfectly with the character of Zatanna
Madam Xanadu
Rosario Dawson
Madam Xanadu is an immortal mystic who uses tarot cards to interpret her senses, she also has the ability to teleport, levitate objects, and banish demons, cool huh? Dawson is a badass chick and a flat out great actress who I can totally see in this role. She has a very old-timey cultured gypsy look to her which I like for Xanadu.
Black Orchid/Alba Garcia
Mila kunis
Garcia is a shape-shifting super hero who is also an agent of A.R.G.U.S working under Col. Steve Trevor on monitoring Constantine. Mila Kunis is quite possibly one of the hottest women in the world, I just dig her. In recent years she has us that she's not just a pretty face, but is actually a good actress who could hold her own in a big movie. I really like kunis for orchid, she looks just like the character and has that same feistiness that Garcia has.
