What with Oscar season around the corner, I was thinking, we have dozens of talented writers on this very site, writers who have produced countless stories and castings for all of us to enjoy. I actually view and read all of the fan fiction on this site, though I rarely comment because of time constraints. Nominations via E-Mail WILL NOT be counted, you can simply log in or set up an account, it takes like three minutes. I think it is time that some of our own writers get their acknowledgement.
This is an article similar to the User Awards that Multi Purpose Poni did a while back, but rather than be open to all users, this is open only to those that submit fan fiction. The categories are listed below, you can nominate a person, or piece of fiction, in multiple categories.
THE PRIZE? The recognition of your peers!
Here are the categories...
BEST WRITER:
The best writer on CBM. This writer must go the extra mile with their work, whether it be length or simply an engaging story. This is open to all fan writers. To be nominated the person must be a CBM User, and must have submitted at least one story.
BEST ARTIST:
This person must have submitted at least one piece of art to CBM. The type of art does not matter as long as it is an original piece. The content of the art can range from serious, to absurd, as long as it is related to a CBM.
BEST STORY:
This is the overall best story on CBM. It can be in any form. This story exemplifies all that CBM stands for. It is a passionate story that grips the reader and brings the source material to life!
BEST STORY: SHORT/ OUTLINE
The stories nominated for this category are usually done in a brief outline like format that gives a basic explanation of the events of their story. These usually are only a few pages in length. Short stories are also eligible; they must be LESS THAN five PAGES.
BEST STORY: NOVEL STYLE
These stories tend be long and well thought out, with much attention paid to detail and dialogue. These stories are often gripping tales that draw the reader into the world that is created before them.
BEST ART:
This is a category for the best individual piece of art on CBM. It can be a sketch, painting, or photo manipulation.

This article is done by the user that puts the most thought into their casting choices, rather than judging on looks alone.
