For all those who just came here by chance, here is a quick explanation on what is “World War Hulk”.
This is a Fan-Made project I was working on for a wail now. The title is the same as the comic-book, but the Fan-Made movie is very different.
One of the biggest changes is that my project has both Marvel and DC superheroes, and they team up in an epic crossover against the most powerful monster of them all – The Hulk.
For all those who have yet watched the 10 minute epic trailer:
The movie starts in the present. We get a debrief scene from Jon Hamm, who plays a NASA official telling S.H.I.E.L.D. and few heroes about a large unknown object with a speed of approximately one-tenth the speed of light, is due to impact Earth in just few hours.
One of the heroes, Iron Man, understands what that object is. It’s not some alien on his way to Erath, it’s something worst, it’s the Hulk.
We get a Flashback, and we go back few months before.
Bruce Banner’s condition is getting worst, and the Hulk is getting more and more dangerous and destructive. Banner decides to go and see Professor Charles Xavier, believing that the later could somehow suppress the Hulk.
But it soon turns out that the Hulk doesn’t like to be caged, and the Hulk is unleashed, destroying Las Vegas.
Batman understands that the Hulk has become a too dangerous threat, and he sets a meeting with Xavier, Iron Man and Wolverine.
Batman tells them that they won’t be able to stop the Hulk, since he is too strong. And they can never tell anyone else about his plan.
The “conspiracy” is to make Hulk really lose control, to the point that Banner will understand that there is no stooping the Hulk, and he would voluntarily agree to be exiled from Earth.
Batman takes few Kryptonite, and he and Iron Man use them to create a new Gamma ray device. They promise Banner that this device can cure him from the Hulk. This is a lie, since the device is programed to do the opposite, and it makes Banner lose control.
The Hulk goes crazy all over the place, and in his rage attack, he kills the most important person in his life, the woman he loves: Betty Ross.
The Hulk turns back to Banner as the rage attack ends, and Banner is shocked by what he has done. Unable to think straight, he doesn’t suspects Batman and Iron Man, and instead he decides that he must be sent off into space.
Banner goes on his exile, but Tony Stark is filled with grief, knowing very well that he and the others are responsible for Betty’s death. Tony confronts Batman, telling him that they could worked on that Gamma ray device harder, and maybe they could have found a way to stop the Hulk without lying to him.
Banner is looked inside a shuttle that is traveling through the stars. Tony connects to its network, and he confesses to Banner, telling him about the “conspiracy”.
Once Banner learns about the truth, the Hulk goes into a super-mode-rage. He takes control over the ship, and turns in around, going back to Erath, intending to kill everyone.
Back to present day, the heroes are getting ready the Hulk’s attack. Batman, Iron Man and Wolverine don’t tell the others (Superman, Thor, Captain America and Green Lantern) about the “conspiracy”. The other heroes think that Banner lost control again, and they are getting ready to fight the Hulk.
Hulk crushes his shuttle right into London, and in the process he destroys the city, and kills thousands of people. Hulk is so crazy and out-of-control now, that he doesn’t care about nothing.
The heroes all fight the Hulk, but the Hulk is too strong, even for Superman. After several battles against the Hulk, cities are destroyed, people are dead, but the Hulk just gets stronger. No hero can stop him, and he just keeps blowing stuff up, and beating heroes up.
The Hulk almost kills Superman, but the other heroes stop him from doing it, and they keep fighting him. Superman flies out of Earth, and goes near the sun in order to recharge.
Batman and Iron Man understand that nothing they will do won’t stop the Hulk, and so Iron Man decides to go and fix the Gamma ray device, hoping that he will able to use it to stop the Hulk.
Hulk almost kills Thor, Wolverine and Green Lantern. In some point, Hulk rips Wolverine’s body in half, and also he breaks Green Lantern’s ring. The heroes are down, but Superman shows up, now in Super-rage mode too, and an epic battle begins between two very pissed off super-beings.
Their fight literally makes the world shake. Iron Man and Batman manage to fix the Gamma ray device, and they believe that it will stop the Hulk.
Iron Man joins the battle, and uses the device on the Hulk, but it doesn’t work, and Hulk breaks Iron Man’s armor.
Superman goes to save Iron Man, but the Hulk overpowers him, and he is about to kill him. Batman understands that they first have to make the Hulk to calm down before using the device. Professor Xavier joins the battle. Xavier uses his powers to create a projection of Betty Ross.
Once the Hulk sees the fake Betty, he stops, believing that it’s really Betty. Fake-Betty makes Hulk to relax, and stop destroying everything. As the Hulk calms down, Batman flies in the Batwing, and he shoots the Gamma ray device (as a missile). The device blows up, killing the Hulk.
The heroes all are shocked by what has happened, and Tony Stark is about to tell them all the truth about the Conspiracy, but Batman stops him, and takes the fall, saying that the Conspiracy was his idea, and he acted alone. All the others are angry with Batman, and they decide he can no longer be a part of the DC MARVEL Alliance.
The final scene of the movie happens in a secret facility three miles underground. Bruce Banner is locked in a special cell. Batman shows up, and we learn that Banner is there on his own choice. Banner says the will never forgive Batman and the others, but he can also never forgive himself. He says that no one can know that he is still alive, and he will stay in this prison for the rest of his life. The Hulk is still inside him, and he can never get out, even if it means Banner has to sacrifice is own freedom.
