A few days ago Deathstroke was announced as a playable character in the upcoming game, Injustice: Gods Among Us, and now GameStop has posted a new clip of Deathstroke fighting Batman.

'Batman is the ultimate gadget character' they say. TDKR is a huge global success. Yet, I think I've seen every trailer for this game, and every time Batman shows up he only uses his grappling hook or batarangs a couple times while he's getting his ass kicked.

What's the point of even having a 'gadget' type characters if you are not gonna promote the one who made gadgets iconic within the genre the game is based on?

EVERYBODY knows about Batman's utility belt. They want to see him use it. You SHOULD be showing a new one of his gadgets every trailer.

I really want to see a Swamp Thing, Martian Manhunter, or Hawkman reveal. Other than that, perhaps some gameplay of Green Lantern.

This game does look quite awesome. Like a sped up Mortal Kombat.

Let's not worry about suits guys and gals. It's about playing your favorIte character in a way that you can believe this character fights like. If you can take Mortal Kombat and Perfect it using our Favorite characters in epic fashion I say yes!!! You know there is going to be DCL for alternative costumes and maybe even different versions of the characters. Cinematic finishes and moves? Backgrounds you can interact with and online play??!? Come on guys, this is an Great thing!! Just give me a million characters!!

I vote for the entire color spectrum of LANTERNS!!

Batman does have a dumb fighting stance in this game, his overall look is also just too Bale-ish for me. But Deathstroke is awesome as usual ;)

This game looks insane!!! They should really get on the ball with a good Marvel Game. I didn't mind the Mk vs DCU. I am not a Street Fighter fan but I did like the cross over games they did.

Yeah, I'm not too fond of Batman's suit here. If they just made some slight changes it would look a lot better.


Expose a little more of the jawline, make the entire set of armor dark grey and the gauntlets black, remove that silver crap on the cowl, and it looks pretty decent.

@fearitself - Unfortunately, long-ass cutscenes seem to be the new crave among this generation of gamers. A game that comprises of 80% cutscene and requires little player-input other than choosing which cutscene should appear next is supposed to be "brilliant & innovative" or "next-gen gameplay", especially if it's from a well-known developer. A decade ago they were called 'interactive movies'.

All we need now is Aquaman (and black manta and\or ocean master) Hawkman, Sinestro, Bane (I agree there r to many Bat villains but y Harley Quinn? Bane would be perfect!)Shazam and Black Adam, and a decent Flash rogue or two (Captain Cold or Mirror Master)

@ JDukes25 -Good job! I think it looks a bit too repetitive for my taste. Hopefully they'll add more depth, because this is a style of fighting that has been used for a loooooong time. I'm ready to see Ed redesign the fighting game engine...

I think they need to throw in classic guys like Hourman, Dr. Fate, Hourman, The Spectre, Plastic Man, as well as villains like Professor Zoom, Mr Freeze, Lobo, Black Adam, and Clayface. I still think it's time to reinvent the wheel on this gameplay style, but I'm hoping we get a LOT of surprises with the character selection...
