FANTASTIC FOUR, a contemporary re-imagining of Marvel’s original and longest-running superhero team, centers on four young outsiders who teleport to an alternate and dangerous universe, which alters their physical form in shocking ways. Their lives irrevocably upended, the team must learn to harness their daunting new abilities and work together to save Earth from a former friend turned enemy.

The Fantastic Four reboot stars Miles Teller as Mr. Fantastic, Michael B. Jordan as the Human Torch, Kate Mara as Invisible Woman, and Jamie Bell as the Thing. Directed by Josh Trank and produced by Simon Kinberg and Matthew Vaughn. Fantastic Four is scheduled for release on August 7, 2015 in North America. A sequel is scheduled to be released on June 9, 2017.

I wonder if they are concerned about the science going over the general audience head.

so they are planning to combine FF and X-Men by using time (???) like in DOFP ?
Wouldn't it be easier to just call it all MULTIVERSE (not to mention it would be more logical) and focus on that ?

THIS IS BULLSHIT.

God Dammit Bryan. I just fix the problem with continuity with X-men movies ...
I don't think i can do it again once you start to play with time again.

They clearly wanna get my head explode. Mean creatures.

btw in alternate dimension FF belongs to Marvel
and DC still makes Batman movies with Schumacher.
James Franco is playing Batman now

also Spiderman is at Fox.

So this is where Thing's thing is?

Meh, I'm mildly enthused. If it's good, then the fans finally got a good Fantastic Four movie. If it sucks, then that's one step closer to Marvel getting the rights back. Or, at the very least, we can say, "we told you so!"

I love the cast, I love the tone, I love the overall concept. If weren't for all the horrid behind the scenes rumors, people would be pretty hyped for this movie.

Considering Fox's last four CBM's (First Class, The Wolverine, DOFP, Kingsman) were stellar Fox deserves the benefit of the doubt that this will at least be good.

I wonder if those specs Reed is wearing will end up becoming Mole Man's?

not gonna lie, the more negativity I hear, the more hyped I get for this movie. It's like a true underdog story.

@oNosferatuZodd1

Yeah, that is one of the many terrible images, where you can clearly see how fake all of them look as opposed to the background. Makes you think how cheap Fox went and not put any effort to at least fix ANY of the CGI. Hope someday we will see a real FF movie on screen. Hope...

Exclusive footage of Fox's Thing appearing in this commercial (He's next to the Dog at the end.)

I'm sorry but I watched Dr. Michio Kaku's series he did on Discovery channel about sci-fi science and almost all of his explaining was compromise and far reaching; - like lightsabers are real and he can build one.... except of course the lightsaber isn't actually light but plasma...and the saber has to have a core of metal with perforated holes in it for the plasma to circulate.... oh, and it needs to be tethered to a power-source and generator the size of a small room.....

ahhhhh ... i will defend Wolverine. Most mature comicbook movie i ever saw
(movie not tv series)
Many people say it's boring and they almost felt asleep.
I can only guess they didnt like pacing or that the movie was set in Japan.
I got no issues with Wolverine untill the last act rolled in.
Last act was badly written.
Jackman best portrayal of Wolverine, Yukio rules.
Could have been amazing, it end up being good movie

7/10 (would be probably 8/10 if they only changed last act)

also ... the movie looked beautiful. Still don't understand why The Wolverine wasn't nominated for Production Design.

not to mention the movie fixed X3 is some way too by adding Jean

The Wolverine was a 5, maybe 6/10 for me, I couldn't get into it

First Class and DOFP are Fox's best, X-Men 1 and 2 aren't bad but their so dated now. The Blade movies hold up better than the X-Men movies, imo

Wormholes..?
What about Assholes?...the assholes who made this movie & the assholes who are going to pay $ to see this crap?
The more they show, the more it sucks.

^i guess we can add WORMHOLES to the list of things that makes us wanna hate this movie ;)

I liked The Wolverine. For a good part it felt refreshingly different from other CBMs, and despite some minor flaws could have been amazing. But it really suffered from the last act. It felt like Logan was suddenly stepping (driving? ^^) into another movie, a generic/bad CBM.

After seeing this wormhole, it's hard to impress.

@Kyos

last act was CHAOS. I think the studio wanted some more action so they just rewrote the screenplay. Maybe the ending was supposed to be more minimalistic.

Say what you want about The Wolverine, but Viper was hot.

i would like Mangold to speak about last act of "The Wolverine"
(perhaps he already have ?) and tell the story who is responsible for this mess.

if anybody listened to the BR audio commentary please let me know.
