Did you know the Legendary's Seventh Son was supposed to be released all the way back in February of 2013? Of course, it was pushed back. Not once, not twice, but thrice! Now that I think, it could've be four times, but either way it isn't a very good sign. If a studio was confident with the product it would've been out by now.  Perhaps these five clips and this one feature, which feature Jeff Bridges ("The Big Lebowski") and Julianne Moore ("The Big Lebowski"), will tempt your tummy ... with the taste of nuts and honey. I'm sorry, I couldn't start that line and not finish it.

In a time long past, an evil is about to be unleashed that will reignite the war between the forces of the supernatural and humankind once more. Master Gregory (Jeff Bridges) is a knight who had imprisoned the malevolently powerful witch, Mother Malkin (Julianne Moore), centuries ago. But now she has escaped and is seeking vengeance. Summoning her followers of every incarceration, Mother Malkin is preparing to unleash her terrible wrath on an unsuspecting world. Only one thing stands in her way: Master Gregory. In a deadly reunion, Gregory comes face to face with the evil he always feared would someday return. Now he has only until the next full moon to do what normally takes years: train his new apprentice, Tom Ward (Ben Barnes) to fight a dark magic unlike any other. Man’s only hope lies in the seventh son of a seventh son.

Seventh Son is directed by Sergei Bodrov and stars Julianne Moore as Mother Malkin, Jeff Bridges as Master Gregory, Kit Harington as Billy Bradley, Jason Scott Lee as Urag, Ben Barnes as Tom Ward, Djimon Hounsou as Radu, and Alicia Vikander as Alice. The movie releases February 6th, 2015.

I've been reading these books over the past few days and I gotta say, I'm not liking the massive deviation from the source material. Probably won't be watching this movie.

It does so much harm to hold off on releasing a movie like this. It pretty much guarantees a flop.

This site is called comicbookmovie.com and you credit Jeff Bridges with True Grit? Not Iron Man or even Tron?

This might actually be good.

But Antje Traue? Her eyes make portions of me stand to attention, and her voice makes me feel all funny and warm down there...
