A decade after his heroic defeat of the monstrous Kraken, Perseus—the demigod son of Zeus—is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his 10-year old son, Helius. Meanwhile, a struggle for supremacy rages between the gods and the Titans. Dangerously weakened by humanity’s lack of devotion, the gods are losing control of the imprisoned Titans and their ferocious leader, Kronos, father of the long-ruling brothers Zeus, Hades and Poseidon. The triumvirate had overthrown their powerful father long ago, leaving him to rot in the gloomy abyss of Tartarus, a dungeon that lies deep within the cavernous underworld. Perseus cannot ignore his true calling when Hades, along with Zeus’ godly son, Ares (Edgar Ramírez), switch loyalty and make a deal with Kronos to capture Zeus. The Titans’ strength grows stronger as Zeus’ remaining godly powers are siphoned, and hell is unleashed on earth. Enlisting the help of the warrior Queen Andromeda (Rosamund Pike), Poseidon’s demigod son, Argenor (Toby Kebbell), and fallen god Hephaestus (Bill Nighy), Perseus bravely embarks on a treacherous quest into the underworld to rescue Zeus, overthrow the Titans and save mankind.

Wrath of the Titans was directed by Jonathan Liebesman, from a script written by Dan Mazeau, David Leslie Johnson, and Steven Knight. The film starred: Sam Worthington, Ralph Fiennes, Liam Neeson, Danny Huston, Edgar Ramirez, Bill Nighy, Toby Kebbell, and Rosamund Pike. Now available at your local bargain bin!

I gotta admit while I thought the movie was weak, the production designs in it were pretty awesome.

Visually the films looked stunning, but that's the only good thing about them other than Liam Neeson + Ralph Fiennes

The visuals were one of the best I've seen this year, if only the script had been better.

Script is what hurt these movies, not the effects.

The creature designs an effects were pretty damn good. The 3D blew which also hurt but most importantly the script was just weak.

@MrYurMomm For me at least, it wasn't as bad as Transformers. This actually dealt with decent substances about responsibility, betrayal, redemption, etc. But sadly the script was absolutely terrible.

Why is this even a franchise? Why does Hollywood have to force everything into a series of the same repetitive films bleeding the same themes until they no longer make any profits?

In the days when movie making had more integrity, this was ONE successful film and left to become a memorable modern classic for its genre. Today, everything is about trying to start up another Franchise so they can make real money from the merchandise!

I'll admit, I was disappointed with "Clash", only because I like the original so much. But, I grew to accept it for what it was, instead of constantly bitching about it, and thinking I could change it. "Wrath" improved on "Clash", and I hope they make a third one. For some of you, it's either your way or the highway. I suggest you STFU.
