Clash of the Titans is finally here and I went in to see the film and I was actually surprised. This film has been getting mainly negative reviews but this review will be a bit different...since I actually liked the film!

The plot is basically that Perseus(Worthington), born a god but raised as a man, seeks revenge aginst Hades (Fiennes) after his family is killed by Hades. He sets out on a quest, fights Medusa, meets Drac0(Mikkelsen), etc. (I won't spoil anymore for you!)

First, I'll start out with the make-up and the effects. I thought they were pretty good, the Kraken as well as other creatures in the movie looked pretty good, the only bad thing about the effects that I can say is that Medusa just looked God-Awful. The costumes and make-up were also pretty good especially on Acrisius( Flemyng).

The acting in this movie is pretty good, Worthington gave a decent performance, I think he's much better as a supporting actor more than the lead actor. Liam Nesson, Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton and Mads Mikkelsen clearly stole the show. These 4 actors were really the best thing about this movie and they gave really great performances. The rest of the cast was pretty good to!

Overall, I thought Letterier made a pretty good movie, sure it has it's crappy moments but overall I have to say I liked it and the action scenes were so AWESOME! Maybe it's because I'm a bit younger (16 years old) and it appeals more to me because I'm a teen but I liked it. And I've always been aginst Letterier directing The Avengers, even though I liked the film ;)

I don't think I could see this movie. I would probably just think about how I stomped Perseus like a little b*tch in GoW2.

It was a piece of garbage. Plain and simple. And I'm part of the younger group who is supposed to like this shit. F*ck Worthington, f*ck the film, and f*ck Leterrier.

I don't care how classic the original was, it's still a horrible movie in my opinion.

cool review. short, sweet, easy to remember!

btw, i'm only 18 and still love a good action flick that some if not most would hate. although i would CLAIM to have better tastes.

Stop saying "pretty good." :D

CGI was terrible through and through, except the Kraken which I think the team spent their whole time on and everything else was last minute. I pretty much agree with teabag with everything, dialogue/writing for this movie was completely lazy, they were going for the iconic action flick type dialogue and missed the mark.

Granted I'm a huge fan of campy action flicks; Demolition Man, Time Cop, Blood Sport, Shoot 'Em Up. This however, did not deliver.

Miltoc, giant scorpions is very much apart of Greek mythology. That's how Orion was killed, and the Kraken indirectly is apart of Greek mythology as well, they did contain giant octopus type creatures.
