Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance reportedly closed off Transfăgărăşan highway, the most dramatic road with it's twist & turns, and second highest paved road, in Romania), two days prior to filming.
"Although supposed to happen on 1 November, 7C highway was closed two days earlier. Reason: Hollywood filming a new production that it is none other than famous actor Nicolas Cage.
The actor will film his last scenes on Transfagarasan film, Ghost Rider II, which is why yesterday and until 11 November, between 09.00 and 16.00, road traffic will be stopped on some sections between km 56 (HPP) and km 62 (The dam).
Yesterday necessary props trucks had already arrived, and dozens of employees have begun to arrange spectacular scenery, with all the arsenal of visual effects and pyrotechnics."
"Nicolas Cage engine will turn up on a road which is over 160 meters high above the water. In addition to the stunts of the film, nature, or rather, man, it will compel the ghost hunter in a stunt yet: it will have to slalom through the holes on the asphalt."
Anyhow, the sequel's story follows Johnny Blaze, as hes hiding out in remote Eastern Europe and struggling to repress his curse. Blaze is then recruited by a sect to take on the devil, who wants to take over his mortal son’s body on the boy’s birthday. And the film is scedueled for 3D release February 17, 2012.
