Here's what the Kick-Ass star had to say when quizzed about what fans can look forward to in the upcoming movie in a recent interview with Collider. To hear more from him and his Drive Angry 3D co-star, check out the video by following the link below.

"A completely original interpretation of Ghost Rider. It's not a sequel at all. It's 'Ghost Rider: Spirit Of Vengeance,' everything about it is different including the origin sequence. They'll see new camera movies, high adreniline, it's like extreme sports. I think the movies going to be an incredibly wild ride."


Starring alongside Cage, Idris Elba, Ciarán Hinds, Christopher Lambert and Violante Placido, Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance is set to be released in 3D on February 17, 2012!

I liked Crank 2. Those guys know how to do action. I think the movies gonna rock as long as Cage doesn't have too much involvement other than acting.

I like Nicholas Cage as an actor (for the most part), but I don't see him as Johnny Blaze at all.
Kinda hard to see this as a reboot or something with Cage back in the title role. That just makes people easily assume it's a sequel.

nic cage plays the same part in every movie he's ever "starred" in!!! he's a horrible actor. they should have rebooted Ghost Rider completely since they already wrote off the first one as an utter failure. he should worry more about those hair plugs rather than making another GR movie.

Ill give it a shot, i enjoyed the first one for what it was, but it was still disappointing to me, hopefully this will be better since msj is not around

Even the dude who played the teenage Johnny Blaze was better. Making this a stand alone does not change the fact Cage sucked as the jelly bean munching Blaze like a cheesy 80's action flop. Im all for CBM's a plenty but I couldnt give two shites about this movie...and that's rare

If it's not a R-rated like an horror movie, why bother to do a new one seriously? Ok Punisher Warzone and Man-Thing didn't have a good story, but the atmosphere of their comics was here.

Ghost Rider is a dark horror comic with blood, flesh, demons and deads, with a dark supernatural touch.
