So will Ghost Rider SoV be a financial success?

So will Ghost Rider SoV be a financial success?

The weekend Estimate for GRSoV is out, and the total earnings is out, so do these numbers mean it will be a success or another Epic Fail?

Okay, since we have been getting nothing but Crummy Avengers articles and yet another Music Video Trailer (looking at ya TASM) news all day today and yesterday I have decided to change it up a bit.

Boxoffice.com is pretty dead on when it comes to weekend estimated and accumed totals for films. They were dead on with TDK and many others who opened big or closed early. So On their future forecasts they have the following listed for the least and slightly anticipated sequel to the Ghost Rider "saga".

Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance:

$32,000,000 Opening Weekend

$70,000,000 Cumulative

Like I said they are pretty dead on about 99.99999% of the time. looking into the total budget costs for this film, its listed at 75 million. I think this film will barely cut it, but with merchandise profit, dvd (who watches these now and days?!) blu ray sales, they might be onto something.
preview screenings have came back mixed, many peeps are calling this a freak show and many are calling it a classic Neveldine and Taylor film.
I for one loved the first one and wished that it would've been a bit more darker and here we are. This may not bring the dough alot of Cheesy and retarded Marvel films bring in but for a low budget 95 minute run time Marvel flick, I think it just may be a hit.

Now you take away this:

And you add this to an already comical action movie:

and you get alot of horny teenagers and old men who will give up their saved coins and turn them in for cash at their local CoinStar to watch this flick. So what do Yall think? Success or another Fail? It might as well be a fail since Marvel will be striking out with The Avengers and TASM as foretold by many Nolanites....<---sorry had to throw this in there.

@ironman53: The article doesn't really have any suvbstance if you take away the Marvel bashing. It doesn't have alot of substance regardless, but every bit helps. I guess. Besides I think humor was supposed to be the point of the article. Without the bashing the article basically says, I read a website that predicted GR:SoV's box office gross, and I think it's right.
