About a month or so ago, it was reported that Dwayne Johnson - wrestler-turned-action star who has been featured in films such as Faster and Fast Five - was in talks to play 'Roadblock' in the upcoming G.I. Joe sequel, Cobra Strikes. Now, The Rock has taken to his Twitter account to confirm his involvement with the project, and posts the following...

It's official: Call the Pentagon, get me my big ass gun - Rocks a JOE!


In addition, he posts the following picture (presumably him as Roadblock):

ive been lifting religiously for a long time and he has great genetics being full somoan but NOBODY get that big on protein and test boosters. dude is for sure juicing but good god he is a freakish talent. vin diesel wouldnt stand a chance in real life and neither would many others

He's not juicing. You can get that big with proper training, high protein, and genetics. He3 has a 6'2 250 lbs big black father and a bunch of 6'0+ 250+ lbs Samoans on his other side.

I'm Hawaiian, Puerto Rican, Black, & Greek. I stand 6'3 and used to maintain myself at about 210. I upped my protein intake to about 2 grams of protein per pound on body. Thats 2 shakes and about 6-8 chicken breast a day. From 215 went up to 280 lbs in 3 months. This guy eats like 12 to 16 chicken breast a day. Size will Happen!
