To continue the countdown for the world premiere of the new trailer for G.I. Joe: Retaliation Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has been tweeted a new photo. This is our first look at Lady Jaye (Adrianne Palicki) and Flint (D.J. Cotrona) in their combat gear.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation is directed by Jon Chu and will star: Dwayne Johnson as Roadblock, Channing Tatum as Duke, Ray Park as Snake Eyes, Bruce Willis as Joe Colton, Ray Stevenson as Firefly, Adrianne Palicki as Lady Jaye, and Lee Byung-Hun as Storm Shadow. The film hits theaters June 29, 2012.

I liked the first, but if this is more grounded I am all for it. Even if it was silly I would still go see it because Bruce Willis and The Rock are in it.

Yeah it seems that there will be little connection with the first film, plus that ET preview makes it look like a more realistic action/gritty/war film. I enjoyed the first but this thus far looks better.

The first GI Joe movie was one of the worst movies I have ever watched half of. You didn't think I watched the whole thing did you?

Hopefully this movie comes out well. Production was troubled to say the least. Chu really didn't know what he was doing. Rock basically directed the movie.
