New ARROW Season Two Promo; "You Better Pray"

The characters and the world of Arrow suffered a lot of consequences after the first season's finale, and this new promo from The CW explores that including lots of new footage from the second season of the hit CW crime drama.

We're almost a month away from October 9th, which is the premiere date to this fantastic looking second season of Arrow. The promo below seems to feature footage from the first two or three episodes of the season, including the return of a villain we've known from the start. This season, we've got Black Canary, The Flash, The Suicide Squad (Bronze Tiger, Brother Blood), Amanda Waller and the League Of Assassins. At FanExpo '13, Stephen Amell promised "DC characters, everywhere."

I think they will connect it, but I don't think we'll see Arrow in a JLA, what we may get is references, so that characters like the Flash can use it is a take off point.

@FlannelGuy26 good eye, good eye, had to rewatch the vid. It could be that, or a shredded effect referring to Bronze Tiger. But if you're right, nice ! :)

@Knightrider- Also, the Justice League wouldn't want his help, Oliver kills people. Batman wouldn't want to work with him, if anything, they'd try to take Oliver down! But, I do hope that they connect the shows to the movies.

I went back ten times. It's too quick to catch...WHICH is pretty awesome if it is INDEED him, but seems plausible. The red blur seems out of place to not be anything at all. Great teaser to the teaser

They may or may not have filmed the episode yet, but adding a 'blur' effect as a hint wouldn't be too difficult.

Superman was in an event that easily caused more deaths than Arrow's finale did. Oliver is more unstable than Batman but he's learning and he's obviously out for the greater good. They'll probably introduce Wonder Woman as vicious and powerful at first too. I honestly think the route they should go is having the whole team unstable and unbalanced before they get together. Not to mention, having two "Batmans" on one team isn't that bad.

I really enjoyed the first season and looking forward to the next, which is strange as I though I would hate it.

I hope they don't go over board witht he super powers and don't really focus on them. The thing that made season one so good is that it felt grounded and you could relate with the characters more. Also how in the Hell is Oliver supposed to fight people with superpowers? He could barely defeat Dark Archer who is a tougher version of himself and has no powers. I hope the superpowers is just to introduce The Flash so that he gets his own show and Black Canary maybe.

More lives may have been lost, but in the grand scheme of things(you know, the whole WORLD being saved) I think that casualties in half a major city aren't that big of a deal.

Exactly. I didn't say it was the actor. It just alludes to it. DC already announced it. It's beyond spoiler territory. And this isn't a trailer to one specific episode.

If they do this right, they'd have DCCU's JLA characters growing as it is. Would be awesome to add Arrow & Flash to Man Of Steel & Batman.... Then they gotta sort out Aquaman, Cyborg, Jonn Jones and most difficult of all, the one and only Wonder Woman....just too bad Lucy Lawless is too old for it cos she would've been a bad-ass WW...

That red blur was definitely a flash tease. This season is gonna be so kickass, if they mention the MoS events just once, my mind will be blown

Arrow could be DC's Agents of SHIELD if they had a pair. Whoever they cast as Flash, get a decent name and use him in the movie
