As much as we would like the movie to highlight each and every Lantern present (which would make the movie 300 hrs long, for some of us geeks that would be the ideal case), But the ugly truth is the movie will possibly run around 2 hrs, and sad to say most of the other Lanterns would only have a split second of screen time. So, for those who want to know a little bit more about these other lanterns; here is a short comic bio for them. Note: This is not for you @LEE777 as you definitely already know all of these characters like the back of your hand.

1. Hal Jordan

The movie will revolve around this character but here's a bit of comicbook info about the character. Hal Jordan is the most well-known Green Lantern. He was the first earthman ever inducted into the Green Lantern Corps, and has been heralded as possibly the greatest Green Lantern of all time.

2. Abin Sur

Possible spoiler for those who are unfamiliar with Green Lantern lore: Abin Sur was the Green Lantern of Sector 2814. After his death, his Ring and Sector were passed to Hal Jordan. It was Abin Sur that first learned of the Prophecy of the Blackest Night, a secret kept hidden by the Guardians of the Universe.
First Appearance: Showcase #22 (September-October 1959): "SOS Green Lantern"

3. Sinestro

First appearance: Green Lantern Vol 3 #20 (January, 1992)

8. Bzzd

Native of the planet Apiaton, Bzzd resembles a flying insect from Earth, and it can be assumed his homeworld is dominated by insect life. Though his diminutive size might lead some to discount his effectiveness as a Green Lantern, Bzzd is a formidable ring wielder. Bzzd is the partner of Green Lantern planet Mogo. The two Lanterns protect and serve Space Sector 2261.

He also had a third arm which protruded from the back of his enormous head.

10. G'Hu

G'hu was a prison guard on Takron-Galtos when he was captured by the inmates and used as a hostage to negotiate their release. One of her brothers, Ragnar, longed to be a member of the Green Lantern Corps and devised a way to become one by killing all his potential rivals, including their other brother and the current members of the Corps in that sector. Lanterns Guy Gardner and Soranik Natu caught on to his plan and granted him a ring briefly to lure him into a trap. 20. Rot Lop Fan

Rot Lop Fan was an inhabitant of the Obsidian Deeps, a black and lightless void in space. He was approached by Katma Tui of the Green Lantern Corps, to serve as a Green Lantern. Rot Lop Fan could not understand Katma Tui's request. The lifeforms on Rot Lop Fan's world are unable to perceive light. Without an understanding of light and color, "green" and "lantern" had no meaning to him, and could not be translated by the power ring.Katma Tui hit upon a solution. Instead of explaining the concept of light, she would work with sound. She instructed Rot Lop Fan to imagine a sound with a pleasing resonance. This he did, as a sound in the F-Sharp range. With the concept of sound, Rot Lop Fan could manipulate the energy of the power ring. She gave Rot Lop Fan a standard uniform with one modification - instead of a lantern, the newest addition to the Corps was given a bell insignia. He believes he is a member of the "F-Sharp Bell Corps."
First Appearance: Green Lantern Corps Annual #3 (1987): "In Blackest Night"

21. Salakk

A veteran Green Lantern, Salakk of Slyggia was summoned to Oa to join the Corps against the threat of Legion. Although a loner and pessimist, Salakk was a friend of Tomar-Re of Xudar, and Abin Sur of Ungara. Salakk appeared to have a low opinion of Abin Sur's successor, Hal Jordan of Earth. Despite Jordan's near single-handed defeat of Legion, Salakk seemed unimpressed.
First Appearance: Green Lantern Vol. 2 #149 (February 1982): "Death by Fire and Ice!"

22. Stel

Unlike most worlds, the planet Grenda in Space Sector 3009 dominant lifeform is not biological, but mechanical. Stel of Grenda was selected as the sector’s Green Lantern and was one of many Green Lanterns trained by Green Lantern Sinestro of Korugar.

After seeing all of these designs with their comic book counterpart I have to salute the character design team of the movie. Though the look maybe altered but I could see enough care of adding familiar elements of the character, and I appreciate of making them look more "alien" rather than humans with unusual traits. So, even with the lack of promotional materials for this movie I am confident that they are doing this well and doing it right.

I am still wondering about the image of "mogo". Some say Oadoesn't have a giant crater on it, well neither does Mogo. It could be mogo, and it could just as well be Oa.

Can't wait either way to see it and hopefully the new trailer this weekend playing with Sucker Punch

@ Logan074 Well did you want MOGO to look like a giant pool ball, but Oa has 6 rays of light comming from its power battery, not just a ora comming from the crater thats why we say its MOGO.

I had heard Arisia Rrab Green Lantern of sector 2815 from her homeworld of Graxos IV was in the movie also. Now I did not know if it was the 14 year old version of her being used or the roughly 24 year old after she used her ring to age herself.

PS Black Widow I miss your Arisia profile pic
