A few weeks ago, Geoff Johns confirmed Mark Strong's casting as Sinestro in Martin Campbell's space adventure Green Lantern. Last night he teased fans with another scoop from behind the scenes via his verified Twitter account:

Salaak is an extraterrestrial Green Lantern Corps member from the planet Slyggia. He has the appearance of an insect humanoid with orange skin and four arms. He is a veteran of most of the Green Lantern campaigns and is considered both a pessimist and a loner.

That makes a total of five confirmed Lanterns besides Hal Jordan: Abin Sur, Tomar Re, Kilowog, Salaak and Sinestro. What has yet to be revealed by the studio is whether the non-human Lanterns will be mainly composed of CGI or whether they are leaning towards more practical effects (i.e. guys in suits).
