Blake Lively is portraying Carol Ferris, pilot and heir to Ferris Air, in Martin Campbell's live action Green Lantern movie. Though her casting seemed to have perplexed many comic fans at first, the reception she was given at this year's Comic Con showed just how many people have warmed up to her landing the role.

that first pick definitley looks like there's a bit of nipplage going on or its just a shadow...either way its hawt!

I ordered Green Lantern: Rebirth earlier today. That's a good jumping on point to get to know the character right? Thought I'd start there and work my way through Geoff Johns entire run!

We cant judge her acting until the movie be released, I´m ok with her as Carol so far, knowing that I never read a GL comic, but I´m a fan of the GL mythology after watching that dvd animated movie and cartoons, so I trust on Blake Lively

I haven't seen a film she totally sucked. I'm pretty sure she is not like Megan Fox who is all pretty but pathetic acting.
Fake boobage? She has a pretty nice set from how I see it. Plus she can't immediately suck by her boobage, it's all bout her acting and her approach to her character.

directors like martin Campbell and even ben affleck who is a great director himself cast her for talent

@DGr8Nova i see your points, and im totally cool with it. but i for one dont like her as an actress and think any number of actresses would have been far better as carol. and i also dont like implants, so her boobs have no hold on me.

along the same lines, i love scarjo and think she is smoking, but she was totally miscast as black widow. many other actresses couldve done so much better at that role than she did.

So far, I like what I see and judging from Blake's most lesser known work I can say that she's great when given a good script. So far she seems to have the look of the character down and I can say the same for Reynolds as Hal. I'm still going to reserve judgement for now on Blake because I'm still unsure if she's right for the character because even some of the best actors can be miscast but Campbell hasn't let me down yet with his casting and I hope this isn't the time where he does let me down.

Ahh, ok I see yeah you got a point and I rightfully agree! Blake was an ok choice but there are far better actresses like the chick from Lost. Yeah Black Widow was a total miscast but ScarJo was alright:)
