Matt Lanter will be best known to many of you for lending his voice to Anakin Skywalker in The Clone Wars, but he's finally set to enter the world of superheroes when he suits up as Skyfox in Jupiter's Legacy.
Talking to CBR about the Netflix series, the actor answered a fan question about whether he would be interested in taking on the role of Hal Jordan in the upcoming Green Lantern Corps reboot.
"Well, to that I would say, Green Lantern, my name is Matt Lanter. I mean is that coincidental? I think not. Could anyone do it better than Lanter? Maybe not. No shame, Ryan Reynolds. I'm just kidding. I love Ryan Reynolds, he's fantastic," the actor continued. "Would I be open to it? Yeah, sure, why not!"
Last week, Finn Wittrock was cast as Guy Gardner in the Green Lantern TV series coming to HBO Max, while a synopsis confirmed that the focus will be on him and Alan Scott. As a result, we're banking on Hal returning in Green Lantern Corps when John Stewart makes his big screen debut.
Would Lanter be a fitting choice to play the character? Well, he definitely looks the part, and while he may not be a huge star, Jupiter's Legacy could help put him on the map in a major way.
