Nothing too concrete on this at all, but a (usually) reliable source has heard whispers that the DC role Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson teased recently is that of John Stewart. Could it be for the Man Of Steel sequel or a solo adventure? Click on and leave your feedback.

We're not putting too much stock in this for now, but along with recent rumors that the character of John Stewart would be appearing in Zack Snyder's Batman VS. Superman themed sequel to Man Of Steel, we have this tweet from ThinkMcFlyThink's Peter Georgiou.




Oh, and there's also the following Twitter exchange from The Rock from April of last year:



The site has had some good scoops in the past, so this is worth paying attention to..even with that ever-ready grain of salt. You'll notice Snyder's Man Of Steel sequel isn't mentioned, but one would assume it'd be that movie Stewart would appear in - unless of course Warner Bros. have plans to reignite the Green Lantern franchise with Johnson leading the charge? What do you guys make of this?
