ERCBoxoffice.com broke the news. Looks like Green Lantern will fly December 17, 2010. This will be a sure fire box office smash especially if the release date stays true. Finally we get a major superhero movie in the holidays. Hollywood has been dragging their feet the past couple of years regarding the month of December's time slot. I know December 2010 seems a long way off but trust me, it will be here before you can recite:

"In brightest day, in blackest night,
No evil shall escape my sight
Let those who worship evil's might,
Beware my power... Green Lantern's light!"

I cant wait for this movie. Unfortunately no news yet on who will play the lead role of Hal Jordan.

WB decided to release the final installment of the Harry potter franchise on 7-15-2011. There's another big movie release that same weekend with The Avengers. I'm guessing Marvel will probably move their film up a week or two before the second part of The Deathly Hallows hits the screens.

Watching The Clash of the Titans remake from director Louis Leterrier will hopefully make me feel like a kid again, this movie gets released on 3-26-10

Batman Mastermind Christopher Nolan's sci-fi pic, Inception, his own original script, premiers 7/16/10.

Director Jimmy Hayward (Horton Hears a Who!) puts the chaps up on Jonah Hex--a western based on the DC comic --set to be in theaters 8/6/10. Josh Brolin is set for the title role, with John Malkovich being the co-star.
