Considering the top-secret nature of most superhero castings, it's rare to see many actors speaking out about their potential involvement in a project ahead of an official announcement and often times, even when asked, they'll do their best to dance around the subject matter - to varying results (see: Paul Rudd).
Speaking with MTV News, Rhodes became the latest up-and-coming actor to get asked about tackling a big-budget superhero movie, to which he replied: "That's everybody's dream, whenever you're a child, you're like 'I wanna be a superhero, I wanna be a superhero,' so in that regard, That is something that's really enticing, but more so because it puts my face in front of more people, who will want to [then] come and see a movie, like Moonlight, that I really care about," However, things got really interesting a short while later when MTV's correspondent Josh Horowitz asked him point blank about whether or not he'd heard anything about Warner Bros.' rumored Green Lantern search, and while he coyly replied with an "I don't know," it was his smile that told an entirely different story.
