Scott Porter Comments On Being A REAL Comic Book Fan And Possibly Playing 'Nova'
Earlier today, we brought you the news that Scott Porter is interested in playing 'Nova' in Guardians of the Galaxy. Well, for those of you doubting whether or not he's a "real" fan, the actor has taken to Twitter to talk more about his comic book cred and how he think 'Nova' will fit into the movie.
It's not often that we feature a story here on CBM where the people we're talking about take the time to check out what you guys are saying or directly respond to a rumour or article. Not too long ago, Scott Snyder (writer of DC's Batman) decided to get involved with a heated debate about a conversation he had with Rob Liefeld, but it's a rare occurrence. Well, thanks to Twitter, some actors are more in touch with their fans with others, and Scott Porter decided to respond to the article we posted earlier today in which he expressed his interest in playing 'Nova' in Marvel Studios' Guardians of the Galaxy.
Click HERE to check out the link in that first Tweet. It leads to a podcast that Scott Porter took part in, proving once and for all that he is - like the rest of us here - a REAL comic book fan. As we mentioned earlier, the actor is no stranger to the genre after voicing 'Cyclops' in the X-Men anime series and lending his voice to video game X-Men: Destiny. Finally, he goes on to share his thoughts on how 'Nova' will play into James Gunn's Guardians of the Galaxy. As you can see, he makes a VERY good point!
