Brie Larson Faces Down The Great Ape On This Awesome New KONG: SKULL ISLAND Banner
The official Kong: Skull Island Twitter account has debuted a very nice new promotional banner for the film, which features a close encounter between the iconic simian King and Brie Larson's heroine...
"It wasn't the airplanes, it was beauty killed the beast." We weren't sure if this latest King Kong adventure would revisit the classic plot-point of the great ape becoming infatuated with the film's heroine, but this new Kong: Skull Island banner certainly suggests that will be the case. At the very least, the two seem to have some kind of rapport.
Don't expect to be wiping tears away at the end of this movie though, as we already know Kong will live to fight another day when he goes one-on-one with Godzilla: King of Monsters in 2020.
A team of explorers and soldiers travel to an uncharted island in the Pacific, unaware that they are crossing into the domain of monsters, including the mythic Kong.
Starring Brie Larson, Tom Hiddleston, Samuel L. Jackson, John Goodman, Jing Tian, Corey Hawkins, Jason Mitchell, John Ortiz, Shea Whigham, and Toby Kebbell, Kong: Skull Island is set to be released on March 10th, 2017.
