In the show’s eleventh season, Sam and Dean Winchester (Jared Padalecki & Jensen Ackles) faced their greatest challenge yet: the all-powerful Darkness, better known as the sister of God. Freed from her prison by Dean, she threatened all of creation, until God (with the help of Sam, Dean, Castiel and Crowley), made amends with her. Before they left Earth, however, they restored Sam & Dean’s mother, Mary Winchester, to life. In Season Twelve, the Winchesters must not only contend with an escaped Lucifer and the British Men of Letters (who’ve come to end their hunting days), but they’ll also have to relearn what it is to be a family again after all these years.

Supernatural features:
Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester
Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester
Misha Collins as Castiel
Mark A. Sheppard as Crowley
Samantha Smith as Mary Winchester

I never understood the appeal of this show, other than the fact Jared Padalecki is nice to look at. I tried watching season 1, but it felt like a vanilla version of Buffy.

@solargeknowles - It's EXACTLY that. I got to season 3 just to say I gave it a fair chance, still mediocre, still bad writing, still whatever characters, and still boring ass monster of the week episodes. Buffy is grossly superior to this show.

I love this. Glad it's still going. I would love to see Mark Sheppard/Crowley as the penguin if he ever shows up in another batman movie.

Years from now, this show will still be on TV. Sam and Dean will be in rocking chairs out in front of the retirement home, and Sam'll say "Knee's acting up again. Must be a crossroads demon nearby." Dean will respond with "You and your damn knees."

It's crazy how long this show is going. At some point, they're gonna have to decide to either go out while on top and pull the plug, or ride it out till it dies slowly. It's CW so it'll drag out

Is this based on a comic book? If not, why is it on this site? What separates this from shows like TrueBlood that aren't on this site?
