Right now, this is merely rumour, but according to Bloody Disgusting, Hardy is wanted to play Henry Sturgess, the vampire who agrees to mentor Lincoln in the ways of dispatching his fellow fanged fiends in Seth Grahame-Smith's historical/fictional novel "Abraham Lincoln, Vampire Hunter."
Timur Bekmambetov (Wanted, 9) will direct the film with Tim Burton producing but as of now it has no casting for the vamp-slaying President.
Breasticles7: I've actually read the novel and I think it's fantastic, very original with a great ending, you guys should really check it out. I think Liam Neeson would be perfect for Lincoln since he was was gonna play him in Steven Spielberg's biopic until the production was canceled. What do you think?
