Every fan wants to see Edward Norton return as Bruce Banner in the hotly anticipated The Avengers (2012) directed by The Incredible Hulk (2008) director Louis Leterrier, the only director dedicated enough to helm the Marvel crossover. This is my OFFICIAL petiton.

Edward Norton, I would very much like to see you return. Your preformance in the film was unbeatable at best. I only ask of you that you would put aside your differences with Marvel pursue this role. You are one of the few people that are qualified to be called Superhero.

I know you had some issues with how the final version of the movie was, but I have to say it's got to be one of my most watched Blu-Rays in my collection. Each time I watch The Incredible Hulk, I find myself enjoying it more and more, and I think that's in no small part to your amazing job as Bruce Banner/Hulk. And Louis Letterier is becoming one of my favorite directors. I tell all of my friends that he's one to keep an eye on.

Edward Norton, please return to the Marvel Movie Universe!! We want YOU for Bruce Banner/Hulk!!!

No exceptions!!! I'm with Norton!!!

Norton is a great actor who's actually a fan himself, so is invested in "doing it right".

LeTerrier is one of the best action directors around at the moment, showed with the more intimate moments in TIH that he can handle them with subtlety, loves and embraces the 'genre' without any snobbery and is a Marvel fan too.

+1 to both.

Mr. Norton, you are the positive force behind the Hulk. No one cares about him more than you adn ONLY you can ensure that we get the Hulk we love. please, join them in the Avengers and really make this superhero history we can be proud to tell the future about.

hell yeah bring back the hulk in the avengers and a sequel to the hulk there is so much you can do with this characters, and other characters in the hulk series like leader,abomination(etc).and maybe some more abomination fighting beside the leader would be cool,and seeing banner learn to control the monster inside and become a hero.

Norton Played an incredible (no pun intended) Bruce Banner. He's a top-notch actor who actually gives a crap about the character. For The Avengers film to honor the original comic series, The Hulk/Bruce Banner has to make at least some sort of an appearance, and it would be a huge mistake to do it without Edward Norton.

There is no avengers origin without the Hulk its a shame that the Hulk is misunderstood not only in the comicbooks but also in the Marvel Universe its self

contrast & williamkuan - I agree. Norton's passion for the character and the project was almost tangible. He is a truly gifted actor and as such, delivered us the greatest rendition of our beloved green Goliath. They could do an Avengers movie without him, but it would not as good without his presence and charisma. I hope they work out all the bullshit and delivers us the type of movie that will go down in history as one of the greatest EVER!

Just putting my two cents in for two reasons actually. One, I'm a long time reader, but this is my first time posting and wanted to get out there and introduce myself...
and two, I actually enjoyed TIH MORE than IM when they came out...I've watched TIH a LOT and felt this would be a good opportunity for me to engage...
I wanted to throw my support in for not only Mr. Norton for being such a great actor and being true to the character and Mr, Letterier for embracing what the Hulk is all about (I watched all the special features and documentaries and he is TRULY a fan)...but I noticed a glaring omission in a lot of posts--I think William Hurt was incredible as Ross and carried the military scenes with an incredible ease...I really think Marvel should consider signing him on as an another aspect of the military supporting the Avengers Initiative...SHIELD being the intelligence and Ross and the military being the cavalry, as it were. There's a lot that can be done with this incarnation of Ross and I think Hurt is just the man to do it...Thanks...
