As some of you know, MIT students, dubbed "Team Peanut Butter," have been working in conjunction with Marvel Studios and Reese's to promote
Iron Man 2 through a
viral campaign. Three safes were sent out to different journalists around the country and yours truly was one of those lucky enough to receive one. The safe was digitally locked and could only be opened by entering an eight-digit code, which was not included with the safe (of course).
Over the past several days, clues to the numbers in the code have been popping up on Twitter and, with the assistance of CBM editor MultiPurposePoni and users SpiderByte, Bijous, TheAnswer, NEXUS, necrosage2005, IronNuts2, jdlynch1, vinnyhull, MRJOKA and others, the combination has finally been deciphered and the safe has been opened...
