Update! WWAYTV3 is reporting that "Iron Man 3" is also headed to Duplin County. Locals have spotted Christmas decorations being setup around town. Town Hall has confirmed that it's for "Iron Man."

On Location Vacations are both reporting that
Iron Man 3 will be filming later this week and early next week in Wilmington at three destinations; New Hanover Regional Medical Center, Cape Fear Country Club and Stevens Hardware.
WECT states that there will dialogue scenes taking place on Friday at the hospital and on Monday the crew is headed back to the Cape Fear Country Club for more dialogue scenes.
On Friday July 6, 2012 they are also filming at the New Hanover Regional Medical Center, 2131 S. 17th St in Wilmington from 3:00 a.m. to midnight. This scene will be exteriors and involve five main actors, but we’re not sure which ones. They will also be filming a smaller scene inside Stevens Hardware, 1831 Dawson Street on Friday from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. - On Location Vacations
Caged Heat Casting has stated that "lots" of extras will be needed this week for
Iron Man 3 and here are the latest casting calls.

Iron Man 3 will be directed by Shane Black, and is expected to hit theaters May 3, 2013! The film stars: Robert Downey Jr. (Tony Stark), Gwyneth Paltrow (Virginia Potts), Don Cheadle (Col. James Rhodes), and with Ben Kingsley as the main villain.
