The first full trailer for
Jonah Hex will be released in theaters this weekend with the horror remake
A Nightmare on Elm Street. Until then, take a look at the first footage of the film from a ScyFy channel preview here:
For those of you unfamiliar with the outline of the film (or whether it will follow along with the comic series it is based off of), here's the synopsis:
The U.S. military makes a scarred bounty hunter with warrants on his own head an offer he cannot refuse: in exchange for his freedom, he must stop a terrorist who is ready to unleash Hell on Earth.
The film stars Josh Brolin, John Malkovich, Michael Fassbender and Megan Fox; and it is currently scheduled to be released on June 18, 2010.
MPP - After Warner Bros' other comic adaptation
The Losers had a disappointing opening weekend, I worry about
Jonah Hex. If it doesn't do well, it may be the final straw for Warner Bros to stop putting money into comic book movies that
aren't based on superheroes.
