BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE - Check Out A 10-Minute Preview Of The Remastered 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is now available on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray in its remastered form, and Warner Bros. has released an action-packed preview which offers a better idea of what to expect...

The same day Zack Snyder's Justice League hit HBO Max, a remastered version of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice also arrived on the streaming platform.

Now, it's also available on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray, and Warner Bros. has released a ten-minute preview clip. As you can see, this version of the "Ultimate Edition" will also be presented in the 4:3 format (something that's proved to be somewhat controversial since the Snyder Cut was released).

Talking to MTV News, Snyder explained why he chose to call this version of Batman v Superman the "Ultimate Edition" rather than a Director's Cut.

"The [Batman v Superman Ultimate Edition], like, my director's cut of [Batman v Superman] - which, at the time, they wouldn't let me call a director's cut because they didn't want people to think the theatrical version wasn't my version - that version of the movie drove I think like 75 percent of the DVD purchases of the movie."

"[It's] a thing that wouldn't exist unless I said 'Hey guys, let's make this, do this version of the movie," Snyder concluded.

It really does sound like Snyder has been battling Warner Bros. since day one, but that's not expected to be an issue moving forward (the filmmaker has said he can't imagine a return to the DC Universe down the line).

@dracula - The level of hype and media buzz the Snyder Cut has brought to HBO Max? 35% more demand than Wonder Woman? It's only a matter of time before they announce this universe is continuing in some form. So you're probably looking at at least 5 more years.

@BeyondtheFuture - from what ive heard, Wonder Woman 1984 actually got more views.

The time of Zack The Hack is over.

You asked for the cut, you got the cut.

Be grateful and move on.

Many of the actors and even the director have

The suits at WB realising that they can re-package and sell the same movie for a third time and the Snyder cult will willingly bend over and eat it all up:

My mind will never change about this film. It's still a mess in my opinion.

Finally watched full Snyder cut. Definitely better than the original and less “Snyder-y” than I feared. Enjoyable and Cyborg was well used. The Flash had nothing to do but run in this film and was poorly developed. I have no idea why Aquaman was in this film. His powers were so insanely ill defined and the final battle didn’t even include water. I mean water is his thing right? The biggest surprise? Leto’s Joker was fantastic in this one. Much, much, much better than SS. Even if he had no real involvement in the plot.

All in all it was the best of the Snyderverse and enjoyable enough.

Put the Enhanced Edition on HBO Max. You already false-advertised it to be on there on 18 March, which is technically illegal.

OFF TOPIC! Nobody is actually a hit at 88% at Rotten Tomatoes with 60 reviews.
