JUSTICE LEAGUE: A First Look At Batman's "Knightmare" Batmobile Appears To Have Found Its Way Online

While Zack Snyder will never get the opportunity to finish his Justice League story, some epic concept art has found its way online showing what Batman's "Knightmare" Batmobile would have looked like...

One of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice's most confusing moments came when we were taken to a Mad Max-style future where the world had been left in ruins and the Man of Steel served Darkseid (not that we know it at the time).

Bruce Wayne woke up from his "Knightmare" after being killed by Kal-El, but Zack Snyder's Justice League elaborated on that by showing a very different team - Batman, The Flash, Cyborg, Deathstroke, Mera, and The Joker - being confronted by the evil Superman. That's where we left things, though Snyder's planned sequels would have told the full story.

The short version is that, after Lois Lane's death, Superman would have fallen under Darkseid's control thanks to the Anti-Life Equation, prompting Batman and The Flash to use time travel to make things right. We'd have spent quite a bit of time in this "Knightmare" future, though, and new concept art reveals that timeline's Batmobile!

Shared on Twitter by concept artist Aaron S. Bailey, this looks like a badass vehicle and one we'd have very much enjoyed seeing race into action.

With DC Studios CEOs James Gunn and Peter Safran essentially rebooting the DCEU DCU for Warner Bros. Discovery, it seems we'll soon bid farewell to all the Snyderverse actors.

As much as some fans would like it to happen, there's simply no way those two bring Snyder back to finish his story. On the plus side, Aquaman actor Jason Momoa looks set to return as Lobo, while Ben Affleck is thought to be in talks to direct a DC movie despite hanging up his cape and cowl.

Take a closer look at the Knightmare Batmobile below, and let us know your thoughts on the design in the comments section.

Zack Snyders DCU is gonna be like an old injury that keeps randomly returning causing minor irritation. Some of us can deal with the pain and movie on while some of us can’t handle it and will have to constantly complain about the past. 🤷‍♂️

@AnthonyVonGeek - Naw. I think when Gunn and Co. puts something out, most people will move past it

My thoughts

They should have spent the money on a better script rather than the nightmare car. Maybe then the script wouldn’t have been a nightmare.

See what I did there?
I used nightmare agai……JUST FORGET IT THEN!!

@CAPTAINPINKEYE - It's not about money, more about time.
They rushed that movie so fast.

But yeah, I wonder sometimes how is it possible that blockbusters are so bad when it comes to story. They have the best people for everything, but all they can come up with is either dull fun or just plain awful.
