Justice League Crazy!

By gosh and all the planets it just keeps coming! Another IESB.net Justice League rumor that continues in a run of hype not seen since the iPhone hits the tubes.

Without ripping off the entire email from IESB.net, they’ve received a tip regarding casting for the Justice League movie that appears to be helmed by Happy Feet’s George Miller. Names that are being thrown around apparently include Jake Gyllenhaal, Leonardo DiCaprio, Jessica Biel, Mel Gibson as Maxwell Lord and Bruce Willis as Lex Luthor.

Now IESB poo-poohed the latter two, but previous reports that they had been sitting on suggested that Leonardo DiCaprio could be in line to play Aquaman, who is part of the team assembling for this ensemble flick. Previous reports had suggested his fee would be too high for such a franchise, but could things have changed?

The cast includes one change that surprises me, including Jon Stewart (no, not the comedic star) as the Green Lantern. This comes as a surprise considering the native popularity of the original and best (biased much?) Green Lantern, Hal Jordan.

As I’ve been saying for awhile now, patience will have to reign as we wait for confirmation to anything. To have a look at the full email, including a story summary that rings eerily close to the Infinite Crisis storyline, check out the link below.
