Zack Snyder kickstarted the DCEU with Man of Steel before going on to two more instalments in the franchise, and while he now appears to be done with Warner Bros.' DC Comics-based projects following the release of his "Snyder Cut" of Justice League, many believe it'll only be a matter of time before he returns to the superhero genre.
If and when that happens, could we see him make the jump to Marvel Studios?
Snyder has admitted to being a Marvel fan in the past, and reiterates his appreciation for Marvel Comics and movies while being interviewed for Wired's latest autocomplete YouTube video. He doesn't give any indication that he actually wants to helm an MCU project, of course, but does list The Hulk and Iron Man as his favourite characters.
It's far from the only interesting tidbit, as the filmmaker answers questions about Justice League, Army of the Dead, his directing style, and more. Check out the video for youselves below.
As unlikely as it may seem right now, Snyder writing/directing a Marvel film is not outside the realm of possibility. If it was to come to pass, which characters would you most like to see him tackle?
