JUSTICE LEAGUE Director Zack Snyder Pokes Fun At Henry Cavill's CG Facial Hair Removal In The Movie

One of the most lambasted elements of any comic book movie in history is the horrendous FX used to remove Henry Cavill's 'tash in Justice League, & now even the film's director has joined in the mockery...

Justice League was undoubtedly a divisive movie, but even its staunchest defenders admit that the CG hatchet-job on Superman actor Henry Cavill's face to remove his moustache was laughable.

It's something that continues to be mocked on a regular basis months after the film's release (and probably will for quite some time to come), and now even Zack Snyder has joined in.

This is not the first time Snyder - who wouldn't have had anything to do with the reshoots involving Supes and his floating top lip - has thrown shade at Justice League or the man who took over when he left the project, so it seems pretty clear that he wasn't happy with the end result.

So far, the director has declined to respond to any inquires about the fabled "Snyder Cut", but it may only be a matter of time.

There may not be a “Snyder Cut” but there is a whole other performance by Cavill as Superman that is quickly becoming the ne t holy grail of “never released/unmade Film” footage ever.

@ChangAlang - Only if we as fans and as the general audience come to a consensus. Considering that we will never believe that Snyder's films are anywhere near bad, let alone as terrible as you think they are, it's not happening on our side. If you can concede that Snyder's DC Films are at worst OK to kind of good and that Snyder at least got the core of the character right, considering the fact that Clark chooses to use his abilities to help others when his mother saves him in grade school and never gives up on that pursuit, the to and fro will come to an end and we will have peace.

Oh. If you're talking about the conflict between Snyder and Warner Bros., that will be resolved if they #ReleaseTheSnyderCut.

@SisterSunday52 - @SisterSunday52 - My to and fro comment was pointed at us Users of this site. Once a week maybe even less, there’ll be this type of article to get us riled(?spelling) at each other. I don’t mind a good healthy conjecture. Personally it opens up my view on things so I don’t become one sided. I just find these articles that should be left dead by now can bring out the worst in people.

For the record I loved MoS. I felt if a sequel took place it should be almost right after the first because to me that was the Superman we were waiting for. And I enjoyed BvS for the most part. A few “huh” moments but admittedly I’ve only seen it once through so that’s on me. And I’ve not had the time to see JL (baby comes first👶🏽) so I wouldn’t be judgemental of that film. If I have then my apologies.

My biggest issue is with WB themselves. They don’t seem to care about these fantastic properties they have. In another “rant post” of mine I said I wished there was a voice the DC movies within WB. Makes me sad that they may end up ruining such great superheroes!

Fair enough if you stopped reading😊 I’m off to bed.... Night all😴
