As we talked about here on CBM yesterday, Warner Bros. originally planned to have Cyborg arrive in theaters yesterday (at least when they announced their slate of DC Comics adaptations back in 2014). For some reason, the pieces never fell into place, and the hero has made only one big screen appearance in 2017's Justice League after a brief Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice cameo.
A lot of fans would like to see more of Cyborg, though, and that support from fans led to actor Ray Fisher taking to Twitter in order to thank them for their support. Clearly, he remains as passionate as ever about the character, and we now have to hope he returns in the long delayed Flash movie.
The man who gave Fisher his big break also marked Cyborg's planned release date yesterday by sharing another shot from the Snyder Cut of Justice League. As you can see below, it shows the hero on what appears to be the same Gotham City rooftop the team met with Commissioner Gordon on.
It's thought that, in the Snyder Cut, the plan was for Cyborg to blast off from that rooftop donning the mask we saw in an early trailer for the filmmaker's original version of the DC Comics adaptation.
Are you hoping we'll see more of Cyborg somewhere down the line?
